UG program at ISME

The BCA is generally well structured course for the tech enthusiast. The BCA course provides you with core computer knowledge making you fit for the corporate world and getting good package. The course curriculum here is too harsh for like you can't get holiday but every Saturday we have value added course . What I think that the teaching method can get better for like it feels h like school here only. You have to be regular with your studies the time you get into college the time passes so fast you don't get time to study and you don't get know that exam came.

The fees structure of college is 1 lakh 70 thousand for BCA course and for the hostel it is 1 lakh 55 thousand including food , health insaurance , laundry. There are different scholarship available students can avail.

Here annual feat takes place every year festivals are celebrated with good arrangements and you get involved in this. There are clubs for different things and one thing that I like about this college is that there's one club called hobby club in which you can start your own club whichever you are interested in. Sports events takes place and we have fun over here.

Hostel facilities are good in boys there's triple sharing and double sharing room but in girls there's only double sharing room the warden is good here you get all facilities in hostel the quality of food can be a problem and yes you don't get non-veg here so you have to eat what they give.

I applied to around 2 colleges in Bangalore and I got offer letter from KJC but there they were offering me BSC life science not BCA , so I chose ISME as a place for my higher studies. I didn't got rejection from colleges I applied to but as I said I didn't got my preference course. That's why I chose BCA here over ISME. The admission process is smooth over here you have to fill application form then basis of your marks you get selected then you have to give interview and if you pass that interview then you get a date to appear here and do the document submission and fee payment.

The faculties are good they all are phds from international university, they are helpful in each aspects every week we have mentoring sessions for studnets to have someone like family here. One thing I don't like is attendance criteria which is 75% and they are so strict for this and they do not consider any medical certificate. BCA is a 3 year course which is divided into 6 semesters and the exams are conducted thrice 2 internals and one BU exam.
