College life : Expectations vs Reality

Campus placements are good in this college as i know.The average package is 3-5 lpa and highest is 18 lpa i think so.Our seniors got good and high salary jobs.At 6 or 7 th semester students become eligible for campus placements.Companies visited are TCS, Infosis , Accenture and so on.

The yearly fee for CSE is 2 lakh 60 thousand , they provide scholarships based on different categories like eamcet , ipe marks based and also college entrance test which is known as vsat. For me ,i am only half amount as i have 50% scholarship and main thing is that your cgpa must be greater than 7 to avail your scholarship and from second year 5000 is added additional to over-all fees for CRT classes.the minimum scholarship is 10% and max is 75%.

Coming to fests.A lot of fests happen but only in the time 4-5.Study hours will not be affected due to fest.For every 4 years they conduct technical fest.And there are lot of clubs like SAC,E CELL,NSS like that. Students can be part of these clubs.

Hostel facilities are good. But there are few drawbacks also.For first year students they take mobile away from them at night just for a week like that.Hot water is available but in the corridor we have to go and get.No self outings in the first year.Room sharing is 8-9 members.

I haven't applied for any other college , i directly joined this college. Sometimes i feel like i took good decision and sometimes like i too wrong decision joining the college , because while coming to learning,they teach many things but a lot of stress .The addmission process is simple and i forgot to mention earlier , the addmission fee is 20,000.

So the faculty are almost friendly except in some cases like late submission of assignments like that.The exam system is quite different unlike other colleges as per i know.there are 2 mids for each semester and again 1 mid is sub divided into t1,t2 and so on t5.It takes a month to complete one mid.
