Course Curriculum Overview
The institute influence our decision to choose this course because they have specialised curriculum. The curriculum has all aspects which needs to be taken. However more practical approach can be implemented but they train you from basic to advance.
Internships Opportunities
HDFC recently offered internship to one of my senior which is still going on and they offered her stipend of 20 k. Many more roles were offered however due to late admissions we re not aware of many facts and figures.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placement in the final year of their completion basically in the 2nd year of your MBA. many companies have visited so far naming Deloitte, Zomato etc and approx 45 to 50 offers were made in the basic starting. Recently a student have received 21 lakh package. Atleast 80 percent get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well the university charges approx 2,00,000 for the whole course. Alongside with 4000 for caution as an etc. There are reservation for all types of category. As it falls under Madhya Pradesh people can avail 100 percent scholarship through various scholarships provided by government. Almost every student avail scholarship from categories even students falling under general category can avail medhavi scholarship.
Campus Life
At IMS we have Spandan which is cultural fest, pratispardha which is our sports fest which is just institute level rathar than that many festivals are conducted on university level. There is a central library which is the biggest library of any university then we have library for IMS too having all the books needed. We have projectors for classes and basic amenities are present. Many clubs like marketing, placements are being runned by students.
Admission
I applied to many colleges but the reason i took IMS was its ROI with the fee, affordability, exposure and the benfit of being in the best public university. The university has many courses hence if you are just connected to the students of your intake only still you connect to more than 1500+ people. Accross different teaching departments and courses.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is generous it is as normal batch size, they have specialised faculties for all the courses and they are approachable. The institute is in a university which means we meet various faculties throughout the course on an average 8 teachers in a semester. There are faculties who are liked and disliked by students. The UTD i.e. the university teaching department has a common exam system which means you have 3 internals + 1 semester end exam + 1 comprehensive Viva. The internals are counted on best of two and attendance is also counted for best of two. The semester end is of 60 marks and the CV i.e the viva is taken by external faculty. However the institute falls under UTD which is an autonomous version of university so all the copies are checked by the faculties only hence making it approachable for all kind of queries. Students pass or fail according to their knowledge and course is updated according to New education policy.
