Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum in general is very good in this college, as the college is autonomous it changes it curriculum according to what the industry wants. It has removed subjects that are not necessary for streams like chemistry from CSE is removed. There are workshops conducted which have its own exam and instructors from companies are called to teach us. The improvement I would suggest is there are still subjects like EVS which are just there and there is a problem with workshop too because they happen in a span of 20 days which is continuous so you forget your normal syllabus and also after that you get out of the habit of coding if you specially don't focus on it. The frequency and timing of exam is good and optimal with good syllabus which can be covered and the difficulty level according to me is good and challenging like you won't jus pass without studying but if you pay attention in your classes and work on it you will easily ace the exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships provided here are by AKTU, you need to do internships compulsorily after 1st year and then do research papers each year The companies can be any but they should follow the criterias provided by AKTU Mostly there are free internships but you can also score paid internships. The faculty here is very helpful, there are also weekly internship assessment periods which guide you on them. I did a internship on traffic management project using AI that was then examined in college too and I had to prepare presentation and present it to them.

Placement Experience

3

The students here are eligible for sitting in campus from 4th semester itself. The companies that visit here are capegemini, hcl, TCS, adobe, Walmart, microsoft, Amazon etc. Also many startups also come here for recruitment. The highest package hereast year was 51 lakhs from Microsoft and there were many that got above 20 lakhs in different companies like adobe and startups. The percentage in CSE and it's specialisation is 90% that get placements. The average package right now is around 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. My plans are to get a decent placement above 20 LPA and then after getting experience for some years I would pursue MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees paid in the first year is 1.74 lakh but if you pay in one time you get 10% off but that is for direct admission only, and from second year you have to pay 1.50 lakhs. Tuition fees - 109,400 Registration fee - 4750 Exam fee - 11500 Security - 5000 TBL - 9100 Student welfare -5000 Others - 20450 The Scholarship are provided to only to those students who come by Counseling and not to direct admission. Also the scholarship depends on state govt from which you belong. For example Uttarakhand doesn't provide scholarship in Uttar Pradesh so you can't avail any, but Bihar govt does. Uttar Pradesh government does provide scholarship but most of them are lottery based and not merit based. You won't get any other scholarships as such. You have to get them on your own

Campus Life

4

The annual fest held here Jagmag which is held before Diwali every year it is a cultural fest. Also many tech events do happen here like hackathons primarily Smart India Hackathon which was hosted in our college last year and students have gone in it this year too Also there are many events that happen here and there. But in first year you won't see much as the campus is different and there are many restrictions. But club activities do boom 2nd year onwards every Friday there is some event or a seminar or something or the other. There are many clubs here like Khushiya Baton Club, Green Gold Society, Metaverse, Sangrachna, Juventus, Nirtya Bhakti, Harmonics etc Many technical clubs are present here too. Annually there are sports meet too which are here. The things here do evolve and help you to grow.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Beds are provided and mattress is provided, you need pillows on your own, A set of table-chair is also given, you also get a cup board. You get decent lighting in the room and the rooms are cleaned daily. The hostel mess is good in the first year and food is pretty good in comparison to other colleges here, there is a mess commity and food is curated by students themselves. Registration process for hostel is done at the time of admission itself, but the availability really depends on when you come because there not many rooms from 2nd year, but you can easily get hostel in 1st year. Also the PG and private hostels are also near by which is good but the food quality and security there is not good.

Admission

I gave JEE examination but got not so good marks, but I also gave exams like VITEEE where I got rank of 15000 and KITEE where I was offered ECE. But i didn't opt for them as they were too expensive. Also I wanted CSE because I was always interested in coding. Here I got Data science so I was happy. You can get admission in 2 ways here one by Counseling and the other is direct admission. In direct admission you need to contact the college and know if the process is happening or not and then you have to physically come here for the whole process which is pretty smooth, they see your documents and then tell which stream you are eligible for and then you can pay the fee and your admission is done, you need to submit documents for which they will provide dates. In counseling you have to give JEE and you can get here by JOSAA or AKTU counseling both are easy process and you pay the fee after which they will call you here for registration and document submission on a specified date.

Faculty

4

In first year the student faculty ratio is good, you can easily approach them and they are too good to you. You have around 60 students in a section. From second year onwards it gets a bit worse because suddenly you have 90 to 100 students per section, so it gets hard even for faculty to cater to everyone. The best faculties are of Communication in general but in first year there almost every teacher is good. But there are some who don't ever listen to you sometimes, some take things on their ego and all but they are just 4 5 so you can manage easily. There are 3 internal exams 2 offline mode and 1 online mcq mode Then there is internal practicals and finally the end semester exam with external practicals In first year there are class tests too. The difficulty of exams is really relative to you they can be easy or hard, you will get important questions in first year for exams. The course is pretty relevant i would say as the college is autonomous and syllabus is updated each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
