Review about my college that is SVIT, Vasad

I like the teachings of faculties and their qualifications are also upto mark but the college is a little bit old so maintenance of classes and campus is highly required. But if we look for academic purposes only then this college is very likely to be preferable.

Merit List

My college is linked with Gujarat Technical University (GTU) so all the colleges linked to GTU has same exam criteria that are we have 2 semesters per year and in each semester we are required to give 2 exam which is Mid-sem exam and other that is external exam so the whole year comprises of giving a total of 4 exams.

Many famous and good companies come to our college like BYJUS, Lynde, TATA, etc. Each company has its particular criteria in picking the students for a job so the studio's students are likely to be picked by these companies. Internships are provided by above mentioned companies only and not to all the students. No internship is not provided by the college.

The event celebrated in our college is Vision- it is an intercollege technical event in which games are prepared and played by the students, Prakarsh- it is a national level technical event in which other college students also come and can play technical games as well as games for fun. Annual Function- this is the best part of all the functions and events. Other events such as sports week etc are also celebrated.

The fee structure is feasible like a middle class student can afford it. It is around 80,000/ per annum but by including transportation charges it becomes around 1 lakh. Because the college is situated away from the city and most people prefer to stay in Vadodara or Anand rather than the village.

Scholarship such as Poor aid Fund is also provided for the college students by the college itself it has simple criteria that more than 50% attendance and that is obvious right? Other national scholarship programs can also be opted by the students as per their preferences.

Many extracurricular activities also take place in our colleges such as sports Vision etc and educational trips are also organized per semester. Sports week is fun as the students get to show their interest in various other activities rather than only academics.

I find the alumni network and the seniors helpful as I am a hostelite and now they have become just like a family. Various interactions also take place in college in our campus as well as Canteen. Interactions with seniors also take place due to various events held in the college.

In my opinion, I like the way of teaching and techniques occupied by the faculty of this college as they have more than 15 years of experience in this college and their knowledge is also good so I would advise the students to take admission in this college those who are looking for quality education.
