Good place learn has good learning opportunities
Good and pretty environment all around the college
Well trained professors for all department with mininum 5years experience

Dislikes

There is less placement for core companies for non it departments
The hostels foods are average and not many varaties
They don't usually conduct culturals at all

I have got mechanical engineering in counseling however i like to go in it companies which i was studing extra computer add on course through nptel which was suggested by the management The exam timing for cie 1 and 2 is 1:30 hrs And for cie 3 its around 3hours

1st year rs 97600 with caution deposit rs 5000 2nd year rs 80,400 3rd year rs 80,400 4th year rs 75,400 Exam fees for per paper is rs 150 For lab paper rs 150 And for lab caution is collected rs150 These above is collected for every sem according to subject with lab For bc scholarship if you apply u will get rs 6000 for days scholar and if you're a hosteller means you will get rs 8000

The library has so many books we can collect books form library by registering our name for c certain period of time if we want an extended period we can renewal form library management There is sports like cricket football. Volleyball like this.there is no festivals is celebrated as other college and there is no culturals

I have optional for the vel tech and Rajalakshmi engineering college but i have selected velammal engineering college because its not to long for me and i can go with mtc bus without college bus so i have not to pay for an bus fees and can study easily coz having so much of time whereas in other colleges its not possible bcoz it is too long we will get tired and we will not study

Faculty is friendly with the students Well experienced Faculties with 5 years experience They are 3 internals exam they called as cie 1,2 and 3 The internals is 40mark Cie 1 and 2 is conducted for 50marks and converted into 8marks with 4marks of assignment Cie 3 is conducted for 100 marks and converted with 10marks with 6marks for assignment

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Review of placement

I applied for SSN and saveetha college. But now i am happy that i got this college. Because when compares to saveetha. My college have better placements. So im happy that i have this college.
