What Students Say
Likes
- Things I liked was the environment and study culture of the college.
- Another part was superb sports facility at the college specially Football.
- Good mess food was also a thing which brought me to the college.
Dislikes
- One of the major setback is less number of fests and events engaging with students.
- Classes were held continuously for 8 hours leaving no time for self study
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum was a bit well designed with more focus on practical needs of the students rather than theoretical needs. We weren't taught subject which were not relevant to the industry norms infact we were well trained and prepared for the industry exposure from the first semester. Only improvement we need is reducing the teaching and time so that one could get time for self preparation and extra curricular activities
Fees and Financial Aid
In General College Fees for the First Year was around 220000/ Year . Tution fees was 210000 and the Caution Fees was around 10000. It also includes a registration fees of 1500. Scholarship was based on different categories. Maximum scholarship offered was 74000 per year based on JEE Scores and Board Results. An additional scholarship given by UP Government was also available for Financially Dependent Students which accounts to 60000.
Campus Life
Annual Fest is Spandan which is held around April + The Technical Fest is basically held during January. Library facility of the college is good which books and generals available from around the world. Sports facility is good which frequents tour for sports enhancement and daily practice on their respective fields.
Admission
I applied for JIIT Noida and AKG Ghaziabad. I CHOSE THIS COLLEGE OVER ANY OTHER COLLEGE BECAUSE OF ITS PLACEMENT STATS AND ITS LOCATION, WHICH WAS DIFFERENT FROM NOIDA AND ITS AFTEREFFECTS OF RESIDING THERE. I GOT REJECTED IN JIIT because of the JEE scores, which were too high for being selected into a private college. The admission process of my college involves giving an entrance exam and then getting interviewed for the further process, which was quite simple.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio depends on various factors. Me being a specialisation student with IBM collaboration . Our ratio was around 1:60. For the core branches it varies from 1:(70-100). Faculties which I liked were Sayantan Sinha Sir for Machine Learning , Mona Kumari for Operating System and Rahul Pradhan Sir for Data Analytics. Their way of teaching and interacting was way too good. There are 2 exams in a semester. Midterms and End terms. Difficulty level varies from subject to subject as well as from teacher to teacher. And relevancy of the curriculum needs slight improvement.
