Everything is fine according to me but a little improvement is needed in maintaining students attendance
Great campus and friendly students that we can interact easily and make friends on the first day of college

i choose this course as i feel like i will be better in arts stream as it will also help me in any competitibe exams Geography teachings must be improved the difficulty of the exams depends on a particular subject

For 2 year course it was 10000 around 2000 as it is a govt college so many scholarships available in a year for various categories One of the best college in Guwahati with affordable fees and friendly teachers

Campus Life

so mamy technical festivals are held in a college and the mkst recent one is fresher's for new students so many books are available to read that is helpful for exams football, basketball, badminton and so on

Admission

i apply only in this college as i heard a lot about this since schooldays i did not get any rejection from any other colleges as i only applied for one college admission process is that we have to first submit our application form and then wait for the merit list

The faculties are very approachable and you can ask them anything if you have any doubt arts faculties is the best i dont like science faculties as i dont understand much of their teachings 4 exams a year and the difficulty are moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

Our course is a new one called "Five Years Integrated Masters Program", shortly FYIMP. Also our curriculum is based on our capacity and needs. They are perfect. Not so difficult. Teaching methods are also great.

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it
