College review

The curriculum of this course is advance enough to meet the requirements of technology these days, the syllabus is set up according to the topics in competitive exams. So, the we learn them without much hassle and have over three years to prepare for the examination. The exams are timed a month apart from each other so there's enough time to study. The teaching methods of everyone differ from one another, but all have the same approach towards making the concepts clear.

The year wise fees is 37000(as of 2022-2025), out of which if you submit 27000 at start of one semester then 10000 can be paid in the next one. The options of category, scholarships & bank facilitated students are different. There is no exam related scholarship but when two students recieve highest gpa in their class they are both awarded a sum of 30000.

There are not many events organised here for my course, but for the tech branch there are lots of opportunities. Although there are general events as well but they are very less in number and are generally organised by the BCA group of students & teachers have no involvement in it. Thete are a number of tournaments of sports such as cricket, football, badminton, etc. So, there are two types of libraries here i.e one is departmental library and other is general library. The departmental library contains books related to individual course while general library has well equipped infrastructure and a wide range of books of all types and subjects.

There are three types of rooms present in a hostel a triple sharing room, a double sharing room, and a single room. The type of room a student is going to get is decided by the faculty of hostel. The meal provided is average & menu changes from time to time. There is generally an option provided while filling the form of admission if one wants to apply for hostel or not. The hostels hete are affordable compared to hostels in other colleges.

I actually didn't aplly to any other colleges except this one and ju, i got into ju but i was getting statistics there and i wamted to persie mathematics so i opted to this university. There admission process for different courses is different, for instance for my course i got in on merit basis while many of my classmates got in via cuet exam.

The faculty here is skilled and cooperative enough to provide us with good amount of knowledge. Though there are certain times when the teachers are not able to communicate properly but that is solved with time. Talking about the ratio of students and teachers, the faculty members are enough in number that each class gets a new teacher each semester and the burdern of teaching doesn't land on one person's shoulder either. There is one main exam, one midsem exams and 4 quizzes and 2 assignments in overall one semester.
