Likes

The college environment is very good, it's full or greenery and the park is quite good where you can spend time with your friends
The cultural events in college are very good
It is a ragging free campus, students can freely roam around the campus

Dislikes

The classrooms lack minimum requirements like fan, lights and even the desks are not good
There is no drinking water facility in the campus
The admin block staffs don't respond immediately

Course Curriculum Overview

The Curriculum made by the kuvempu university is quite good, but the staffs don't follow that curriculum and due to this they are unable to complete the syllabus for students and conduct extra classes for students

Fees and Financial Aid

The college environment is quite good,but the facilities there lack communication skills to teach students and the college infrastructure is not that good, This college doesn't provide any placements or internship opportunities for students, the computer lab is worst in this college

The cultural events and sports are given a highest priority in the campus and the sports organisers support you to compete in several colleges sports and events ,there are programs like NCC,NSS and Rangers and Rovers programs provided in college

Hostel Facilities

The food provided in hostel is not good , but the accomodation is good for students they provide beds and seperate cots for each students. The bathrooms are not that good and they have broken taps which are not repaired by the management and the food menu doesn't contain any protein meal for students and the food is too oily and students cannot eat it

I had applied for several colleges in shimoga but I neglected this college in the beginning due to its lack of providing placements then one of my friend suggested that they would improve computer lab in the college , so i joined here ,and the college environment is good

The teachers are good but they lack communication skills and they are unable to explain students the concepts, they don't have proper knowledge about the subject. The marking system for internals is 20 marks which includes projects, internals ,viva and assignments

Kristu jayanti the best for degree

Placement Experience:

They have 95% placements. Many of students started there intern after 1st year but I tried at last year and selected it was no-payable but got experience and now I'm taking 10 lpa. My friend got payable at 2nd year but he didn't improve his skills and struggled at last he lost placement but got hired in developing company. If you don't get placement no worries on that you can improve skills in college and take of teachers

our collage stars to focus on placement from 4 semester ,but actual placement is done at end sem ,many companies visit and select few and most eligible students, companies like axis bank ,karnataka bank etc visit and give good packages, the recent one of my senior got placed in federal bank with the initial ctc of 6 Lpa., now percentage is not that big factor they check the skill, my plans is to get placed by my dream company apple inc .

As i have heard from my seniors the placements are good. It all depends in our creativity and knowledge on how to tackle the outside problems. The highest package must be around 3500000 and lowest package must be around 100000.

For BCA Course there are different specialization here in this college. There are no improvements needed. There are class tests after every unit is finished to checkbhow much you understood . It's a very good thing.

I had to choose this college because I had this college as a last option when didn't get selected for neet ug . After getting into this college it has taught me lot of new things. There is lot more than academics. It's making friends . Yes I tried for other colleges also but the admission process was already over on all those colleges . No blame to any colleges because I was not in time . The admission process was quite easy for me as it was management seat. I had admission in just one day. If you want to apply for government dear then there is a long process. First you need to take your 12th marks card to the college and then apply for the course subjects you like . If there is vacancy then you get the seat. If not then you will be given another subject . Almost everyone gets the subject they have applied for but if you are the last one to apply then there may be some chance not getting this favourite subjects. Collective college

12+ or equivalent pass students are eligible. You can find applications as though in kuvempu university websites and available on the office of the college. Fees as per course you had chosen. Infrastructure and faculty are good. Best place for education....Read More
