Glimpse into Woxsens Student Life - all u need to know

•They have proper clarity as to what field you want to choose in computer science branch. Now CSE is a wide field. It has areas such as AI, ML , Data Science, Core CSE. This made me choose the course because it gave me a sense of direction to hv a path towards becoming a senior data analyst one day. •The curriculum prepares us well for the real world since we started learning programming languages from semester 1 and it has been by far the greatest thing we started. •areas of improvement - teachers with clarity on what they r teaching. A confident teacher attracts attention in class and sincerity towards subject. •in a span of 3-4 months for a semester, we hv an internal assessment every two weeks of 10 marks to max 20 marks , we have two to three assignments in the semester and we also have marks on how we behave in class as a criteria. After which we finally have end semester examinations.

Students in btech become eligible for campus placements in the first semester of 4th year\ final year . Several companies have visited like Deloitte and JP Morgan and several big techies .the highest package we recieved is for a student securing a job in Tokyo in Samsung for 24LPA. AND others with an average package of 9-10 lakhs. 83% students from DS-AI batch recieved placements so it's recommended to choose Data Science and AI specialisations I have plans to apply for campus placements as well as off campus placements right from the first sem of 4th yr . And achieve a good placement offer.

So woxsen University is one of the two universities in Hyderabad other than BITS Pilani , which is the go to place if you haven't got a seat through JEE MAINS. this hostel provides a good secure atmosphere for students opting hostels. I have a few structure of 2,30,000 for hostel , 2,30,000 for food and mess , and about 3,00,000 including (35k for study resources) for my studies. The mess food is okayish. Would suggest to opt for AC rooms which cost an extra 65k charge. You have to pay for laundry fee 24k a year. To enter in this college an aptitude test is given to asses a students knowlege and grant merit based scholarship on tution fee. I recieved a 30% grant on my tution fee. It can go upto 50% but it's rare. For bba the fee structure is the same .. but the overall payment is less than btech since btech is for four yrs and constitutes a total of 25-28 lakhs based on the scholarship u recieved. And bba constitutes of abt 17lakhs since only 3 years of study. Admission fee is 50k.

We have events on 1.Janmashtami celebration (Dandiya night) - Aug-september 2. DJ night by famous different DJs from Hyderabad (sept end) 3.Rangrasiya event(garba night) - dussehra time 4.diwali events (DJ night) 5.christmas balls 6.holi celebs event 7. Infinity launched events .. food stalls and singing concerts Every classroom has speakers projector .. and technology possible We have about 15 sports facilities in campus .. focusing on wach game and providing a space for specific game personally. We also have 28 student run clubs and a student council for ots smooth operation

The hostels are inside campus .. seperate for girls and boys accomodation. Boys have three towers (14 floors each) and girls have several blocks from A to F and a personal tower of 14 floors too. The facilities are nice. They clean every alternate day .. each room including bathrooms. Girls have option for double sharing and triple sharing .. boys only have triple sharing facility. They provide a variety of meals every meal of the day. Pts nutritious and quality is a solid 8\10. Registration process for hostel and accomodation is mandatory so happens in the admission form only and affordability is decent if u exclude AC rooms .. AC charges are an additional 65k to your hostel fee. We are not allowed to rent PG or a room outside campus.

I chose this college over others I applied to because it gave me a sense of discipline in my life. We have access to gyms from early morning and racetracks and moreover we have a curfew that we cannot go outside the campus without informing our parents since we are growing adults and that's an important part to be responsible for ourselves in a place away from the city.its purely for our safety. • i applied to BITS PiLAni and got a seat in ECE in Goa branch. But I really wanted to pursue comp science engineering and that's y i opted for woxsen University. • the admission process is simple , you are assigned a coordinator from the branch office in Jubilee hills. You have to confirm through several forms and submitting ur certificates of 10-12th , after approval from BRIDGE, you get your aptitude test which then decides if u can get admission or not, then u get merit based scholarship percentage , and an interview with college professor as the final steps of getting in. The faculty to student ratio is 1:70. Faculty are very approachable. Available anytime . We have their phone numbers and their official mail IDs too for contact I loved my BEEE faculty , Mr. Prashant chahar .. he was my second professor in beee because of whom I was able to understand the subject well. I enjoyed classes from other faculties like Srinivas sir for AI, Gopal Krishna patro sir for DAA. I disliked my classes from Balaji venkateshwaran sir since he is a PhD research scientist originally and we were his first students back for BEEE. He failed 50 students out of 70 since a silly mistake in answer gets a zero was his policy. Too strict .. I faced problems and had to retake the course under a different faculty due to this. Now exams pattern is good. We have several internals , that has a total of 60 marks .. and then semester end examination which is 100 marks for each subject but converted to 40 . Now the internal score out of 60 + the converted marks out.of 40=marks u go
