Good teaching, well encourage mentor for sports, scholarship for merit students are very helpful, in case of maintenance very good Good but need to be better in lab instruments and other infrastructure facilities compared to other universities in Karnataka.

Entrance Exam

The course curriculum is excellent with all subjects in the form of courses like course one in the first semester, course two in the second semester and so on. The curriculum includes subjects entomology, pathology, soil science, genetics of microbiology, seed science, forestry, economics, agricultural extension, computer science, English, etc. Exams are conducted every semester, usually, internals and externals. Internals(50 marks) conducted in 3 stages first is midterm exam (20 marks) after 1 month of commencing of the semester, after 2 months practical exam for 15 marks, later Viva, assignments, at the end external exam of 50 marks conducted.

There are very fewer placements in college. Only one or few companies visit the college for recruitment, and that too for every 3-4 years and not frequently. The companies offered salaries in the range of Rs. 22,000-25,000 per month. Mainly agricultural marketing companies visited, and I don't remember the names of the companies. The roles offered were of a sales executive. Nearly 23 of our batchmates were selected with an agreement of 2 years, but a majority of our batchmates rejected the opportunity because of the 2 years agreement.

Events like the Youth Festival are conducted every year for students to showcase their talents. Annual day is celebrated every year, and mainly Krishi Mela is conducted every year for farmers in different sub-campuses.

Fees structure is not that much expensive yearly it will be under 25000 for college fee first semester will under 15000 and the second semester will be under 7000 .compare to other degrees it is not expensive hardly college fee will be under 100000 Rs for four years except hostel fee.

The yearly scholarship will be given for merit students about 10000 Rs from the college .the top 13 students selected from each class and no two scholarships will be given the students have to choose any one scholarship, for example, they have to choose merit scholarship or vVdyashree scholarship.

NSS camps, cleaning programs, and blood donation camps are the extracurricular activities conducted on the campus. NSS camps will be conducted for 7 days in villages, blood donation camp will be conducted yearly, cleaning programs will be conducted openly on the campus.

The hostel rooms are good. They are shared by 4 people with separate cots and cupboards. There is also a gym facility, but it is not much good, and TV is available in the hostel. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues.

Yes Seniors are guiders they helped a lot in various aspects like guidance in various subjects, provided study sources, guided in assignments, shared their experience that is very helpful in taking proper decisions

The teachers are very helpful. All the teachers are well-qualified and are Ph.D. holders. They are practically sound with high knowledge. The teaching quality is good with practical results demonstration. The teaching methods used are boards, PPTs, word document, and great exposure. Industrial exposure is provided during training in the final year in agricultural based industries like nurseries, Shimul, Arecanut plates manufacturing companies, and visits to progressive farmers, etc.
