Comprehensive review of Government College of Engineering Aurangabad: Academics, Campus Life, and Student Experience.

The curriculam covers the core subject like mathematics and electronic programming that are fundamental for any technical career. Also they covers the elective subject which helps students to get the extra knowledge about the others branches. The inclusion of internship and project helps the bridge gap between the theoritical learning and real-word application. The areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and cyber-security are the significant factor for improvements. Courses that emphasize hands-on learning through research project and lab work provides the practical skills that are essential for both job and higher studies. The exams are spaced evenly throughtout the semester that is mid-term are conducted around 6-7th week and the final exam are at the end of the semester. Mid term exam are moderately difficult based on the syllabus which are covered in the half of the semester and end semester is very difficult which based on entire syllabus throughtout the semester.

Our college provides the placements offers from a 7th semester. We are get eligible for on campus placement at 7th semester. Many compinies visited our college for hiring students from differnts sectors including core engineering, IT, consulting and manufacturing. The recent compinies visited our college are mainly Infosys, tcs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Siemens, Cognizant, Capgemini, Godrej, and many more. These compinies offers roles in software engineering, data analysis, IT consulting, manufacturing, etc. The highest package offer in recent years was around 12-15 LPA offered by company like infosys, tcs, siemens,etc. and the averge package is generally ranges from 5-7 LPA depending on the departments. Our college has a strong placement record with around 70-80% of eligible student get placed through on-campus recuirtments. I make effort to get on-campus placement at strong company with average package around 6-7LPA. After the degree I want to see me in a company at very good position.

I paid the fees of my college yearly is Rs.40050 .The tution fees of my college for my category is Rs.00.The total college fees is 84000 but I included under the category of SBC so that I pay Rs.40000.My friend having category OPEN or general they pay amount 84000 yearly and having category ST/SC they pay Rs.200 yearly. The scholarship available for us is mahadbt scholorship.

The annual cultural of fest of our college is held in between the month of february-march. It helds the events like music, dance, drama and shobhayatra. And the technical event name as WINGS is held in between the january-february. It includes various competition like coding competition, robotics race. car race, etc. The college library has many types academic textbooks, reference materials, research journals. The library is generally useful for students preparing for competitive exams like GATE and CAT. The classrooms of our college are well equipped with projectors, smart board, green bourd and digital screen to facilitate modern technique methods. GECA offers various sports facilities like ground for cricket, vollyball, basketball, football and there is also badminton court. Other than sports college also provide extra curriculam activities through student-run clubs like photography club, light samvedna club, kalashri club. hasclash club for technical things.

The hostel of goverment collge of engineering aurangabed provied the facility in the room like there is two beds, two chair, two tables in each room. Also provide the two cupbourds for girls. The collge hostel also has mess in the hostel, the test of food is quite good as per the amount. We menu of our mess is everyday there is sabji,roti,dal and chawal .pickle etc. And there is special meal at once in the month. For registration process first we have to feel the google form online and there after confirm the admission by varifying the documents. Kranti chouwk and peer bajar are the populated area near our college hostel.

I choose this college over from other college because it is a government institute and it is one of the best institute from marathwada for engineering. Yes I apply for other colleges also but their cutt off of CET percentile is very high and unfortunately I didn't get selected there. The main reason for choosing this college is the reputation, placement opportunities, course offering, fees, faculties and location. The admission process of my college is very simple, once the seat is alloted, students need to go through a document varification process to confirm their admission. After varification the initial fee payment is made to secure the seat.

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:15 to 1:20. Generally the student and faculty relationship is quite professional but our faculties are very supportive and guide us in any situation of education. Many faculties are open to discussing acadamic questions and mentoring student at placement and internships. My favourite faculty names are Dr.Shilpa Kabra mam who teaches us oops and os subject in our second year. and also my favourite mam is Dr.Smita Chavhan, the project guide of our project. They both are very sweet and supportive. There is no one faculty that i don't like. All are teaches us for our good and well. My college conduct 3 main exams, two of them are CT1 and CT2 each of 15 marks and there is end-sem exam is of 60 marks. The level of difficulty is quite. Out of 70-75 students, hardly 5-7 students are not able to clear the exam. We have the subject like AI and ML, which are high in demand in the industry.
