The college is awesome. Professors are very learned and supportive. The academics and the course structure is also very good. Although infrastructure is a bit dissatisfactory there is a constant improvement is going to in Institute.

Course Curriculum Overview
The choice of courses is wide. From conventional Engineering branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical to Modern Craze like Computer Science and Electronics are all available. Except this sum rarely seen branches like Paint Tech, Plastic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Oil Technology, Leather Technology is also available. There are semester exams(Biannual) and sessional exams are held at pre planned scheme.
Placement Experience
The placements are very good. Approximately 80% of the students are placed on the college campus. Internship opportunities are rare but available. During 2011-2015 Exxon Mobil used to provide Internship opportunities with stipend Rs25000 per month.
College Events
In College, Two main fests are organized. One Cultural Fest- TAAL And a Techno-Cultural Fest- Odyssey. The participation is huge (approx 4000 participants)Except these college fests, many inter branch fests are also organized by different branches to groom the interpersonal skills of the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a college funded by the government. Fees are in the feasible range even less than IITs and NITs. Hostels are also not costly at approx 50000 per year expense. The living cost in Kanpur city is also not very high.
Fees and Financial Aid
Banks are ready to provide loans once your seat is confirmed. Also for economically weaker students, the Social Welfare Department provides financial assistance. In addition, some scholarships are provided to students who perform exceptionally well in academics.
Campus Life
College is rich in extracurricular activities. The literary club, cultural club, and Q Frat are the most attractive clubs in which seniors teach and train the juniors to learn and perform. Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is not very fascinating, especially of second year hostel. Few new hostels were under construction in 2015 which would really enhance the satisfaction level. My Experience- First year rating 7/10 Second year rating 5/10, Third year rating 8/10 Final year rating 9/10
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni base of the Institute is very strong but not well connected. Seniors have been very helpful in every respect. Senior guide, train and protect junior at every step. Student Registration number predecessor helps the junior at every step.
Faculty
Faculty are learned and very supportive of the students. Most of the professors are highly qualified and equally well in delivering the content to students. Some of the guest lecturers are not so effective in teaching. Their dedication is praiseworthy.
