Panimalar Institute of technology is not like an engineering college it is like kindergarten which doesn't give student freedom they schedule up everything we have to be a robot and follow all their worst rules The rules are like rules in jail we can't even raise a query or inquiry they use to note you and call your parents and ask them to come to college and blabber their cooked up stories. positive- They treat us like child Used to provide more placements Used to provide you a good transport facility and food Negative- Make us more stressed despite the academics and make us frustrated always They even don't allow cellphones because they stuck in the past decades Interaction between girls and boys is strictly Prohibited inside and on the bus. If you violate the rule you get action from suspension to TC They don't give the student freedom rather they treat us like prisoners The college starts as earlier as 7.30 am and college ends at 3.20 pm it was so long duration than other colleges.so we have to be an early bird and get ready to the college by 5 am During traveling also the phone is not allowed because using phone leads the student into the wrong way or using phone causes cancer which to leads to death it was the reason told by them for not allowing the phones

Merit List

The course Curriculum was set by Anna university and exam structure was hectic. Memorize the content given in the local author book and vomit it, even worse the content good handwriting gives you a good result. Rather than knowledge marks and grades are Important for the university to accept a student is ready for the social living

The college provides decent placements every year. But the college doesn't provide any internship we have to get it by yourself and I don't know much about internships and I didn't attend any of the internships

The college doesn't conduct any of the events for the first year. They conducted an event that was not actually an event they conducted for the namesake. They seldom conduct events though it was only for higher semester students only

It was a little bit expensive than the Other colleges in that area and it was Mandatory for all the students and staff to use the services provided by them like food, transport Facilities. They don't provide much detail about their billing structure. We have to pay whatever the money they tell us.

They provide scholarships for the selected merit students. They don't provide loan facilities and if you are the department topper they avail you a cash price reward up to 50k to 15k. Either you are the university rank holder

No extracurricular activity or sports are encouraged they give sports OD only for the all clear students they don't even allow the students to walk on the ground The lab is well maintained and lab in charges are so helpful and quite knowledgeable

No, I am a day scholar student but I asked my hostel friend about his experience but he said it was like living in the jail in a hostel doesn't even allow phones laptops are any electronics items and they are permitted to play in the weekends alone If they failed in any subjects they have coaching class up to 7'o clocks and they don't even allow students to go to out on weekends unless they permit to go home only for long holidays

Nope. seniors are as friendly as our co-student but I don't know about alumni but they recently conducting Alumni reunion for every batch on Sundays so we not able to know how successful they because of the college

Panimalar Institute of technology has a very good Experienced faculty Who has industrial exposure too. They are more like friendly but most of the staff are very worse they don't know how to treat a college student they treat us like school students.
