yes. Every college has some negativity. I would say the college is quite strict and highly focused on its academics. Some seniors also reported that the placement is done but in bonds or something like that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam name is VITEEE, the form is filled online. The cost for examination is around 1500Rs only. The exam taken doesn't have any negative marking. The total number of questions is 150, with very easy questions from class 11the and 12th. There were some general questions as well.
Placement Experience
I would say placement is best in all private universities. Almost 300 companies are invited by the university every day year and almost all students from CSE, MECH, and ECE are placed. If you are getting the top branches here then you are lucky.
College Events
There are many occasional programs taken every year in VIT, REVERA is the best part here. the celebrities from all over India are invited to entertain the students before the huge burden of CAT. many workshops are held in between the session. It will give you a decent opportunity to show your talent here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is about 3 lacks per year including hostels and mess. However, the top rankers in VITEEE have some compensation in their fees. Some students are scholars with ST 100 % fee waiver here. The better resolution can be seen on its official website.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is offered based upon VITEEE ranks only. The scholarships are available under 1000 ranks. the top one would get 100% scholarship, the 100-500 would get 75% and from 501-1000 are offered 50% scholar every year.
Campus Life
Almost everything is best at university. the students from all over India will show their descent skills here. labs are highly upgraded with the latest equipment available. VIT competes itself Worldwide, so it doesn't leave any negative things for its academics.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't opt for hostels but my friends are, they paid almost 1.5 lack per year. The hostel infrastructure is quite good. The rooms are available with 4 beds and 2 beds. It's your choice which one will you take.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are placed somewhere .they all working in some good companies now. Some of those who skipped the placements are either preparing for UPSC or doing Masters with some other colleges. they all are very helpful and skilled with decent quality.
Faculty
Most probably it has the best faculty similar to NIT or IIT. The university is a premium university made to provide quality education on their own. Most of the faculties are P.hd Graduates, and you would get some faculty from abroad also. they are offered as guest lectures weekly.
