Honest review for GAT bangalore

Coming to the curriculum it's all based on the college teachers and the HOD's, etc as it an autonomous college, but the college also provide us with real time examples like taking us to industrial visits like ISRO, etc and explaining all the aspects but one thing which can improve is college also giving importance to sports and encouraging students in sports. The timing of exams is well enough for the students and having practical's and understanding concepts is also a great thing.

Right now in present u have no idea on internship but as of heard from seniors there are opportunities and the projects can be done by students in any semester where as the teachers would fully suppor the students in various aspects.

The placements I have heard since o was admitted is not quiet good, I think due to recession in market or any else reasons but the companies have been visiting and u have no any guesses about the selected students but some of my senior who I was known have been placed with an average package of 3.5 LPA and most of the other students opted doing masters in foreign countries.

I was admitted in the college through a merit exam(COMED-K) and we had three rounds of online counsellinf and the fees through COMED-K was 2,42,400 but again I was made to pay 22500 as skill lab and VTU Fees and this fees was added to all 4 years of fees which bacame around 2,64,000 and i also opted to live in hostel, There were 2 types of rooms 3 sharing with attached bathroom and 4 sharing with no attached bathroom but now it is 4 sharing with attached bathroom and 5 sharing with no attached bathroom and the fees for 1st year was 1,00,000 and then 95,000 but when i joined the hostel i was in 3 sharing with attached bathroom bit then from second year it was 4 sharing with attached bathroom with no difference in fees reduction. And as u know the fees for K- CET STUDENTS was 98000 all inclusinve and they were also made to pay 15000 as skill lab and VTU fees. Students who come under OBC OR SC/ST category can have various scholarship like SSP scholarship.

The campus life is good with various department events conducted by their specific department groups and also having Interact as in called the college fest every year held by the assigned college departments with great efforts and passion and also having various sports events and selection and also VTU level matches

There are two types of room in present in the hostel which is 4 sharing with attached bathroom with a fees of 1,00,000 for the first year and 95,000 for the rest of the years and the other rooms are 5 sharing with no attached bathroom where as students have a common bathroom in every floor and i have no idea about the fees. The registration is simple and the fees has to be paid in 3 instalments where the students and parents would be notified when to pay the fees.

As o clearly mentioned u was admitted through COMED-K EXAM, so i was opted through the counselling rounds which happen and u was selected in the 3rd round of counselling, u also got alliance university in first two rounds but waited to get a better college so o opted out this college. And the overall admission process was great and the faculty staff helped me out in all the ways during the process and everything went smooth and well.

The faculty to student ratio was fine like the teachers job was done perfectly by their ways and teaching was fine has of having any doubts would be cleared by teachers in any time and they are also available after the college hours and about students failing fairly depends on their means of study and the exam marking was also good in their ways.
