Remarks

Negative Remarks - No Modern Culture, Lack of external cultural activities, decent infrastructure, canteen food isn't great. Positive Remarks - Respect and Discipline. Good environment, friendly teachers, an apt place for studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is 3 years long. It has 6 semesters. Pretty much the same everywhere. B. Com is a very basic course, it's like a launchpad to your dreams. A regular course has more value than doing it in correspondence.

Placement Experience

5

Our college has an amazing placement cell. Companies from all over the state come for hiring. I have personally seen many people get selected for a decent package. Those wanting to do higher studies can skip it. But you can at least give an interview round or so, just to get experience.

College Events

4

Our college is very cultural. But unlike other colleges, we don't have a modern culture where people dance and sing and play games. It's pretty boring over here. Where the students sing Carnatic and other devotional songs. If you're a fan, you'll like a lot here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Extremely feasible. I hardly paid 10k for the entire 3 years in the morning batch. It'll be a bit difficult to get in the morning. The evening batch will be a bit expensive 20k a semester. Huge difference huh.

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea. They do have a scholarship program, but I never enrolled in it. It was pretty cheap anyways. But if you do enroll it, I'm sure you wouldn't be paying much. But it'll take time for the processing stuff.

Campus Life

2

We have a big cricket ground. Great cricket players like Ashwin have come from this college. It is definitely a launchpad for the cricket youth. Moreover, we have many other facilities, Science Labs, Gym, Library, and others.

Hostel Facilities

2

I didn't opt. But I heard its pretty darn strict. Just give it a pass. They don't allow mobile phones and there's strict adherence to timings. So you better plan out there. Moreover, if you're on for studies, a perfect place.

Alumni/Alumna

No. It's damn bad. I'm never in contact with my mates or the college staff. It doesn't have a neat infrastructure. But people here are really passionate and they ignore stuff like that. It's an ancestral institution. So we don't expect much. And it's reputed for that in the education industry. We have bagged many discipline awards from other institutions.

Faculty

3

Faculties are selected after careful screening process. The faculties there are amazing. We can learn a lot there. All are very experienced. The HOD over there has 150 degrees and is respected in many fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
