Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There's no specific thing that influenced me to do this course or to join this university. I've livin' in Gorakhpur for past more than 10 yrs so it's like a home for me now.and ddu is really a well known University in Gorakhpur as well as across whole UP. My parents too suggested me to join this university which I found really good to be a part of this university. The teachers here are really connected to the real world they gives examples from the reality, the society, day Today happening which really helps us to learn thing quickly.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a 3rd year BALLB STUDENT I pay 40k per year. They provide special privilege to the ST / SC , like they offer reserved seats for them. There is not fees division based on any community or caste , everyone persuing BALLB pays equal fees . They provide scholarships to every section of the society, the students who are really needy and hav financial problems.

Campus Life

3.5

There are many indoor outdoor activities and games are organised by the DDU like rangoli making, racing , basketball, football, chess, singing, dancing, skirt, poetry, speech debate writting competitions . Convocation ceremony are being organised every year, meetup with the hall of frame students. Meetings, discussion with students and many more activities. Overall Enjoyment is beyond or the level I really appreciate the opportunity that we are provided by our faculty.

Admission

I did applied in LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY but later I joined DDU GORAKHPUR. I wasn't rejected from any college ,the decision of joining this university was my own decision which I'm proud of it . The admission process of DDU is too simple.after the declaration of 12th result the on-line Registration portal is opened and registered student needs to Carry the hard copy of it to the examination centre , offline entrance exam is held for every courses , it is in MCQ form which is of 200 marks.

Faculty

4.5

In BALLB course there are 150 students in total and 75 student each class . I like my own faculty that is LAW FACULTY , DDU is really a huge University and it's been 3 years studing in this university, so for me I like each and every corner of the college. There's no specific faculty that I dislike . They conduct exams based on semester , each year there is two sem. And the exam is conducted in a written form. There are less that 20 students who fails in exams , there are very less chances of being getting failed in exam. BALLB course is a dynamic course and the way professor teaches us makes it easy for us to grab and learn it quickly.

Placement Experience:

Students are given internship opportunities right from the first year. As I'm already on the verge of graduating in the next two months, I've seen the faculty and management put more attention to the Training and Placement Cell. Big companies like Deloitte, HCL and Austrian Migration Lawyers like Loch Corporate have taken interns from the law school at DME. This being said, I have high hopes from the Placements as well. I plan on working in the corporate and later this year appearing in Clat PG for the masters.

Campus placements at the college are quite decent and provides students with a good platform to start their career students usually becomes eligible for placement in their final year but the college starts focusing on internship and skill development on early semester itself. This helps students gain practical exposure and build a strong cv before they sit for final placement. Usually hardworking and eligible students who focuses from the begining get placements through college after completing my degree my plan to gain practical experience by working in a corporate legal role or with a law firm to build strong skills and industry exposure the placement percentage at the college is moderate with a fair number of students getting placed each year
