Overall the college needs lot of improvements and has a great potential to do the same. The course curriculum needs a lot of changes. The focus should go more on improving this syllabus and make it industry friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite old and a lot of changes are being made to assure that students learn new age technology and techniques. The current batch is however studying the same age old curriculum. In a basic sense, the college has to improve a lot to express out full potential.
Placement Experience
The placements here are not that good. Some of the companies visiting here for campus placement are Hindustan Zinc, Secure meters, Aptech, Ambuja cement and sonalika. This year Mahindra tractors also came for the recruitment of Agricultural students.
College Events
College Techfest is the major event celebrated in the college in the month of March. Here students get opportunity to participate in various programs and events. The Roborace and Dare to win are major attractions. The is also a sports fest for indoor and outdoor games.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fess in the college is not so high and it ranges to 72000 per year. Apart from this the college charges for examination fees and various caution money. Overall its not more than 75000. The hostel fees is charged separately.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is governed by various central scheme. The all the schemes run by state and central government can be used to get loan and scholarships. Apart from these the college also provides scholarships under Sumedha for selected students.
Campus Life
The college has a great indoor stadium for sports like basketball, Table Tennis and badminton. The grounds are also available for playing football, hockey and cricket. The college has also has a good volleyball ground.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I been living hostel for the past few years. The hostels are good but the food quality is not that good. The first year hostel has been renovated and many things have changed. The hostel for the third year has been constructed new.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college are mostly professors working in various colleges. The provide guiday about the practical scenario in the field. They are also helpful in various other ways. They help in preparing for the compititive exam as well.
Faculty
The faculty is old and experienced. The professor have been the former students of various IITS and NIT. Most of the professors are Phd holders in various domains. The dean of the college has also taught in some of the European countries.
