Course Curriculum Overview

1

I wanted to persue something in media and communications. This college is a big no if you are thinking to leave you city and come to Mumbai to persue some degree in this worst college. The events or the chapter in the college won't help you to persue something in acting, media, news, nothing at all. There is room for improvement tbh, it wont help you in anything. The teachers won't teacg you anything you already don't know about, though their teaching methods ain't bad, but the teaching material they got is just vague. The exams are 2-3 three hours long depending on the subjects. I gave them at 10 o clock in the morning when i studied there and they are literally the easiest, you can even pass if you know nothing about the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

I studied in the clg for one year and paid around 25-30k for the same. There was a minority quota for gujarati students. It provided admission of handicapped students with reservation and i guess also had a management quota for the same. You probably just need 50% and above to see your name in their merit lists. A lot less if you are a Gujarati.

Campus Life

0.5

They have soo many events organized every 1-1.5 month, they'll re randomly name the event on some city for example Hyderabadi Biryani event or smthng Lucknow Nawabi event and honestly they are the worst. They have 0 sports activity, they just have a small turf where they'll organize really dumb and dull sport events which will remind you of class 1 when you were toddlers. I was really having some visuals for college life and landed on Raheja. I was literally the worst.

Admission

I also applied to St. Andrews, Wilson, Ruia and Xaviers, my 12th results got delayed so i wasn't able to make it to Xavier's entrance, Andrews and Ruia had higher cutoff than i scored. I got in RD National, Raheja, Wilson. I also gave CUET for Mithibai but wasn't able to get it due to less marks in their general test and the gujrati reservations. You just have to fill your form by paying 100Rs to the admission portal and check your name in their Merit lists, if your name is there, you gotta go to clg manually and submit hard copies of your documents that's it, boom, welcome to the junkyard named LS Raheja

Faculty

The faculty is mostly sweet. Also, you don't have to have any mandatory attendance percentage to appear for your semesters. The faculty to student ratio might be 1:50 i guess. You'll be having 6 semesters overall and ATKT exams if you miss or fail any of your semesters. The exams of BAMMC are really easy, you just need to improvise majorly and add a lil bit of keywords. Teacher like Kavita maam and Tajasvi sir are very friendly with the students, Kavita maam can be a bit rude if you're not very actively keeping up with the classes and events. Otherwise i don't think of any teacher that will be teaching you and you won't like them, they are all nice. You need to perform well in even semesters (sem 2,4 and 6) otherwise they might not promote you. Very few students fail to clear them and mostly because of their attendance and laziness, otherwise the papers arr really easy. And tbh, the stuff you are to be taught is not relevant, not even the slightest.

The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.
