College offers diploma as well as degree course. College also offers full time masters program.
College is well equipped with required machineries and tools which are necessary.
College faculty is well educated and some of them are also pursuing PhD

College don't have specific ground. It doesn't offer sports ground for the students
College don't have any campus as it has only one 6 floor building

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is designed in such a way that it covers all the necessary aspects required for the students. Whole course is built on the practical knowledge which helps students when they enter hospitality industry.

College have a dedicated semester for the internship program. Students must complete 4 month internship and a certificate to advance to the next semester. This internship help students to make their decision of choosing specialisation which they pursue in 3rd and 4th year.

Fees and Financial Aid

MSIHMCTRS offers batchelor degree for which the fees is Rs84000 per year. This fees is for the general quota. If you're applying through any specific quota such as OBC, SC or ST, students can get upto 70 to 80 percent scholarship.

Campus Life

College organise theme dinners, Diwali celebration events, christmas celebration events and annual function. Freshers party is organised for the new coming students and also farewell party for the passing batch

MSIHMCTRS is the only college which offers diploma, degree and post graduation degree. College offers full time 4 year degree course which no other colleges offer in Pune city. Main reason to choose this college is that the college is under government sector and also got NACC affiliated

Faculty

College faculty is well educated and concerned about the students. Staff members are helpful and are always ready to help students. Course is divided into 8 semesters and exams are conducted after every semester end

Interview Experience

Maharashtra education board conduct a CET exam as a entrance examination from which students can apply for the course. Minimum 75% score is necessary to take addmission in the college. After that the list is generated for the selected students.

A real look inside my college life experience

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Remarks:

The management of the college is good you get easily admission in this college there is no problem or issue you come from fees department. But the delay in the loan procedure.

The only government college in pune

Maharashtra State Institute of hotel management and catering technology, Pune is the only government college in Pune. It's one of the best colleges in Pune one can think of taking admission. As it's a dream for many students who come to Pune or who are from Pune and inspire by the hospitality industry. As it is a government college fee here is very less compared to other colleges in Pune. Recently our college has opened a new building for degree program students. It consists of 3 fully equipped training kitchens, bakery lab, accommodation practical lab,2 training restaurants and classrooms. Facilities here are very helpful, and they guide you really well. We have a 100% placements guarantee. The bad aspects are that our college doesn't have a ground to play any sport....Read More
