Likes
- Faculty are very sweet and helpful. They are moke like friends. They guide you through out the course. Faculties are very friendly in nature and they know how to deal with their students.
- Campus: the campus of the college is so much interesting, you get everything you need. You get smart classes, a giant library, sports arena, Huge halls for seminar and functions and etc.
- Clean washrooms: Near and clean washrooms with huge mirror.
Dislikes
- Campus is small, it's like a 6 floor building.
- No strick rules and regulations for the students.
- Too many students in a small campus. It makes it a Chaos.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Bachelor of Commerce, honors in accounting and finance. I chose this course because I love the subjects and I'm very much interested to work in this field and experience reality. It is tough course and at the same time it's interesting I must say.
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission fees Rs 25000 First year: Semester I Rs 23500 & Semester II Rs 24700(All fees Inclusive) Second year: Semester II Rs 24800 & Semester IV Rs 25200(All fees inclusive) Third Year: Semester IV Rs 28400 & Semester VI Rs 25400(All fees inclusive) The above mentioned are the fees I paid. I didn't receive any scholarship as there was a condition for availing scholarship which I couldn't fulfill. The students with scholarship had to pay fees one-third of the actual fees.
Campus Life
Campus of the college is small as compared to other colleges but the functions the college organised is incomparable. The college has got huge huge halls for functions and a turf for college functions. There is function and events going on in every month. There are different clubs like dance, music, art and craft, sports, debate, NCC, and many more
Admission
After my class 12th I applied for 3 colleges in Kolkata: 1) Bhawanipur education society college, 2) Jaipuria college 3) Goenka College I applied in Jaipuria college and Goenka College. I got rejected in these college because of the cut off. Cut off was high during my admission cycle so couldn't make it. These college were good but couldn't make it. I got seat in this Bhawanipur education society college at once so I took admission here. Admission was done online. Payment and all were online so it was easy process for enrollment in this college. I got seat here on the merit basis. There was no entrance exam for this college. Got seat in this college in the first round itself and I'm happy that I took admission in this college.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are very friendly In nature and they provide the best guidance to the students. Faculty I liked the most is Mr. Patwari Sir. He is a good teacher. Knows to teach and handle student in his own ways. Faculty I didn't like is Swapna Saha ma'am. Only reason is I couldn't understand her teachings. There are 6 semester in this course and so we have 6 final exams. This exam are tough, we are sent to different colleges to appear the exams. Very strict environment for exams.
