A great college

I enjoy coding so i choosed this course The curriculum prepares us well enough for the real-world applications tho i think it can be improved I think there should be addition to more subjects in place of few unwanted subjects and should focus more on practical rather than theory so we have experience working practically rather that studing just theory more labs should be conducted only 2 labs per week is not enough The frequency and timing of exams is very good neither too late nor too early and there are just total of 4 exams per year ( 2 per sem) the mid terms are very easy the end sems and also not too dufficult

There wasnt many internship opportunity offered by college Only 2 companies came for internship which didnt even select anyone The roles were qa tester, web developer I dont remeber the company but they were offering 10k per month stipend

Students come eligible for placements in the final year So far in 2 months 35 companies have visited amity for my programme i cant recall or mention all but ill mention all the ones i remember 3 were from japan one was JNP( placement process still going on) Another was human resocia Rest other indian companies Dell - 1 student of my class is placed Accenture (process not finished) Decathlon Pie infotech ( 3 students placed in my class) Xebia ( 2 students placed of my class) Ubuy ( 3 students placed from my class) Shipglobal Vivonation Dianapps Hiremi Deltax Sap labs Wipl And more Most of the companies have picked up students 9 students are placed from my class out of the 25 students actively appearing in all placement process Average package - 4.5lpa Highest package - 7lpa Percent of student getting placed as of now are around 50% in the 2 months But there is 90% placement done Amity says 100% placement which is true at an extent Few students just sit in placements for experience

Annual events Sangathan (sports event of almost every game) Goes on for around a month Held in mid september - mid octover E- summit Held in november Odyssey Held in march There are almost every book available in the library Whenever i needed a book it was available there Facilities in classroom Ac rooms, projector, cctv, comfortable seating Sports and extracurricular acrivites There is golf, football, cricket, basketball, badminton, tennis, snooker, chess, shooting, horse-riding, kabaddi, kho-kho, colleyball and a lot more games available to play with groun, courts for everything There are many student run groups/clubs Like fashion clubs, music bands, dance groups, etc

The hostel facility is very good There are flats each having 3 rooms a washroom, bathroom, sink and a lobby Each room has 2 beds 2 study tables and 2 cupboards There are ac and non ac rooms available Meals There are 2 mess one is either pay per meal or do a montly pay and other one is pay per meal and the food of one mess is average the food of other mess which is pay per meal is good And the menu of the 1st mess keeps on changing per meal time The menu of other pay per meal mess is good there are arojnd 10 foos options to choose from every meal time Registration process for hostel is not very hard we just have to pay the hostel fees during admission or if we want hostel in for example 2nd year we can just check if room is available in admission deparyment and pay fees Ac room - 120000 per year Non ac room - 65000 per year 10000 fixed security deposit one time I have rented a room in 2nd year in achrol there are many options availble like chandwaji, nims for pgs, rooms

I applied to manial university rajasthan before i applied for amity my admission got rejected because my 10th marks were very less i could have secured an admision there with my 12th marks but they were not out when i applied then i applied for amity as it has a very good name with so many brances all over india and internationally it is a well known college so i proceeded to apply at amity the process wasnt very long or hard i just applied online filling a form and then recieved and offer letter after a month or so then i paid my fees 3 days before college started did all formalities of documents submissions after class started The main reason to choose amity was that i didnt want to give an entrance exam and amity was the best college in jaipur

There are enough number of faculties available always ready to help and can be contacted at any times my relation is good with most of the faculties as they have helped me a lot apart from our hod as he sometimes doesnt five attendance despite attending classes There are around 10 subjects including labs, foreign language, minor track, communication skills, behavioral science There is a mid tearm at every sems mid of 15 sems total around 5 subject exams are there Then there are lab practical at end of sem again for 15 marks Then end sem is for 50 marks The syllabus is not very tough and easy to pass around 10(including ones who didnt attempt it due to low attendance) students fail to clear the exams of 1-2subjectss and some subjects no one fails to clear the exam excludin the ones who didnt attempt the exam due to low exam The course curriculum is very relevant and keeps on changing acccoriding to the industry requirements
