All about Andhra University

I am studying electrical and electronics engineering.I my branch the syllabus is very complicate.Because it's all about Electricity.No one influenced me to choose this branch.I have intrest on machines,motors, electrical components from schooling onwards,so I choose this.Proffessors teach all the topics by presenting presentation.So we can visualise the content and it is easy for understanding.There are 2 internal exams in middle of the semister.

To join in Andhra University for Engineering,there are three entrance exams. 1.Ap Eamcet for Intermediate students 2.Ecet for Diploma students 3.Aueet for intermediate students (payment seat or management quota).... *The actual college fee for the students who joined through Eamcet and Ecet is 39500per year. *The students who joined through Aueet cet is 100000per year. *For Eamcet and Ecet students scholarship is eligible. *Fee reimbursement and scholarship isNot eligible for Aueet students. *At the time of Admission we have to pay 3000as admission fee. *The exam registration fee is 1350 per sem. *The revaluation fee is 750 per each paper. *We have to pay placement fee 500 one time only. *Coming to reservation, while joining through Ecet they will allot based on merit cum caste vacancy. *The Aueet students are Dual degree courses.It means Btech+Mtech total 6years we have to study. *The government provides fee reimbursement for Eamcet and Ecet students.

•Every year we celebrates Department days in the month of March by wearing cultural dresses. •Ethinic day in April. •Tech fest or Techzite in the month of February because in Feb we have science day. •In Au there is one Library for all engineering books.Old books ,e-library , research Books etc. by using college I'd card or with Library card we have axis to the Library. •Another library is Au Central library.It is a big building having lakhs of books from the times of kings rule. •There are 3 big grounds for playing. •There are so many clubs like pioneers club,Maths club,Nss,A-hub etc..

Au has so many hostels which are very near to the departments or classes.They are old hostels with good infrastructure.The hostel admission is very lengthy process.After getting addmission they will allot one room.Its our choice to select our room mate They will provide 2bed cots,2 study tables,2 chairs,1 fan and 1 light etc.The food is very tasty and hygiene.The mess charges for month is approximately 3000.In outside private hostels they charge 7000 per month.

In councelling I optioned some other colleges also.Some of the colleges are 1.Gayatri Vidya parishad 2.VR Siddartha 3.Vishnu college,bhimavaram 4.Jntu's etc... But I joined in Andhra University because it was a government institution and it is a very prestigious college because it was old college with highly knowledged professors compare to other all private colleges mentioned above. *I joined in this college by writing AP ECET exam.I got good rank and the seat was allocated in this college.

I Andhra University engineering College there is no shortage of Professors.I think around 1:20 is the Student -Professor ratio.There is a good bonding between staff and students.We may approach the professors anytime anywhere in the campus.They also gives their contact number.If we have any doubts means we will contact them anytime.They are very free for doubt solving.There are totally 8semisters in engineering.We have to write sem exam.Internal marks for theory exam is 30marks and external is for 70 marks.Same that In labs also 50for internal and 50 marks for external.
