A journey worth sharing

The hypocrisy and arrogance of the college's staff are hard to miss out on. Even the housekeeping staff has it's own pride here. They charge hefty compensations even for petty things. There's no such thing as FUN here. You will always have to be careful here not to piss off any faculty. Otherwise, he/she will make you regret it.

I don't have much idea about the course curriculum for all the 4 years as I am still in the first year. But from what I have gathered, the curriculum is vast and includes the basic hard skills required for placement. They conduct three major exams in a semester, two of 20 and one of 35 marks. Besides, there are various other exams held from time to time in the form of Vivas, Quizzes, Surprise Tests, etc

Placements are average from what I have heard, with most of the students ending up being taken by mass recruiters and three-tier companies. But extraordinary students do grab a package from 6-7 to highest package of 27 lacs from Amazon. The college does not provide an internship. But you have to complete at least one industrial internship on your own in 3rd year.

Many small events are organized from time to time. Four big fests are conducted in this college:- Ebullience, Ethnic Night, Impressions and Cyber Shrishti. Impressions are impressive, Ebullience is ebullient, and Cyber Shristhi is a technical event.

Fee Structure is of course very expensive, considering that it is a private college. Fees for a hosteller amount to 3.5 lacs per year including hostel and mess fees. If you are a day scholar, subtract Rs. 1.1 lacs per year for the hostel.

No room for the scholarship, even for the brightest students. But the loan facility is available at the time of admission. So at the time of counseling, many executives from different banks advertise the loans.

Extracurricular activities are not so much entertained in the college. The college is built in compact space and does not even have a proper playground. A garden is there where it is forbidden to play anything. Students play basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, cricket on a concrete ground which is also congested every time you go.

There are 2 hostels for boys. Infrastructure is remarkable. Facilities provided in the hostel are drinking water, A.C ducts during summers, hot water during winters, 24-hours fan and light facility without extra electricity bill. There are 2 libraries, 4 computer labs, one cafeteria, and one A-Z shop for daily needs.

Some famous alumni from this college are Kriti Sanon, Apurva Gupta, Tanmay Negi, etc. Ragging is not prevalent in college and the seniors are very interactive if talked to. They help freshers in a lot of ways.

Faculty is knowledgable, but their teaching methodology is very monotonous and boring. They don't explain the concepts very well, they just teach according to the syllabus which is planned out for the upcoming exams.
