Course Curriculum Overview

3

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course was that it was affordable in terms of those professional courses in main campus whose was almost the same as that private colleges but I don't think that this curriculum prepares us enough for the real world applications I'd prefer if the teaching methods were to be and be a little more practical. The frequency of exam is also the as that of AU and the same for the difficulty

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees I paid was 5,675 for a year out of which 4,675 was course fee and 500 was processing fee and 500 was computer awareness fee and I paid 300 before for registration also There isn't much for scholarship as it is same as other AU affiliated colleges which is UP scholarship and there is also some benefits for high merit students

Campus Life

2.5

There wasn't much of annual and technical festivals except for a few the range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library also wasn't much to say about as for the facilities and technological provisions within the classroom was also quite backward and there wasn't much for sports and extracurricular activities on just below average and there weren't any social groups clubs or student portal I know of

Admission

I applied for university of Allahabad and scored 289 in CUET As I was from unreserved category I couldn't get admission in the main campus as the last cut off for unreserved category was 340 + so I applied to some other affiliated colleges which was ECC , CMP , and ISDC out of which I couldn't get admission in ECC because the fees there was about 38000 something which I didn't have at the time and I had also applied for Integerated program BBA+MBA And I was in the merit list for this course but the fees was too high which was 60000 per semester so I had no choice but to look for other affiliated colleges and I chose ISDC as it was near the place I was currently staying at so I got myself admitted there as I got enough marks to get admitted in any of affiliated colleges except for AU main campus cause I was short of 50 something marks

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student relationship wasn't that bad and it was actually quite nice and approachable the exams there are also quite similar to those of other affiliated colleges of Allahabad University the course curriculum is also like any other colleges I quite liked everything except for the faculty of Commerce

Other Applied Colleges

Nida Khan | B.com

Department of commerce campared to the other departments looked dull and Many places weren't cleaned well when I first went there I thought where am I . even my previous school was much better looking than this college and it was as if since 1980's when t

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
