Course Curriculum Overview
In my view the course curriculum is well structured and through the point. Apart from theoretical knowledge, the college also focuses on preparing students for practical implementations. For the purpose there are many mechanical workshops are present like CAD lab, HMT lab, IC Engine Lab.
Internships Opportunities
The college also provide internship opportunities to the students of third year and final year students . The duration of internship for third year students is 3 months and for final year students it is of 6 months.
Placement Experience
The average package of IET Lucknow is 8.2 LPA and the highest package is 47 LPA (Domestic) and 1.2 CPA (International). The college focuses on providing internship to the third year and final year students. This year De Shaw and Google also visited our campus for campus placement of internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise college fees is 99,275 for the core branch students including the hostel fees of 14,500. The caution is 5000 which is to be deposited at the time of the admission. For the Computer science branch students it is 15000 more i.e. 1,14,275. So the overall course fees will be somewhat around 5,00,000. There is also training and placement fees of 2,000.
Campus Life
The campus life at IET Lucknow is pretty good not as good as private colleges. The infrastructure of IET Lucknow is okay okay. My building of Mechanical department is pretty good as it is a new building structure.
Hostel Facilities
I live in KN hostel (newly built hostel) with pretty good facilities like Water Cooler, Wifi and other facilities. There are in total 13 hostels of these 9 are boys hostel and 4 Re girls hostel. The mess food is also pretty good enough also there are parties at the hostel at times.
Admission
I prefer this college because it's a pretty good tier 3 college at my rank. It's too good government. It is an autonomous college which is also a good college. Ranked 1st student among all colleges and institutions under AKTU.
Faculty
The faculty here at IET Lucknow are well educated and qualified from well recognized university and college. I am the mechanical branch student so the faculty members of Mechanical branch are quite chill but are strict at the same time (mostly depend upon their mood). There are total 2 mid sem exams.
