Course Curriculum Overview
The course Curriculum is of old standard i.e 2 semesters a year and same sllybus is going on from past 3 years. Exams are held 4 times a year excluding classtests. 2 times mid-sem and two times final sem in college primises but held by panjab university.
Placement Experience
Our college has tie ups with many mnc like Wipro,TLC,Amazon,Tata and lots more.No interenship is provided at all by the college.After the course completion of yours you can go to placement cell for your placement.
College Events
Events happen time to time by different socities,clubs and by college itself also.You got to explore a lot. You have events like Athletic Meet,DAV Fest,Star Night,IT Fest,Exibitions and a lot more. You just have to be prepared.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Well college have different fees structures for diferent courses available in college. The fees structure of all the courses is not much expensive it is within the range of a common man.My fees for a year is 35000 i.e equal to what i paid in school.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not know much about these scholarships offered by college but concessions are provided by college to needy and capable students of theirs. Fees for backward classes is low than compared to fees of general caste students.
Campus Life
Extra-Curricular activites like sports are promoted by college. The college has its own cricket,basketball,football,volleyball team. Every year a annual sports meet is organised by college. Labs are well furnished and well equipped.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior are very helpful and they treat you like your younger ones. They time to time plan trips for themselves and their jouniors as well. There is no such thing like ragging in college primes. You feel like at home when in college.
Admission
It was through the department of higher education,chandigarh.A merit list was made by dhe(department of higher education) on basis of 12th marks for the student who applied. Three counsellings were scheduled to get students there respective college. I got admission in 2nd counselling and college gates opened for me after paying fees of a year.
Faculty
Teachers are very experienced,well-qualified,friendlyand somewhat strict too.No problem regarding the faculty of college. Different teachers for labs and theory classes are appointed by college. Library staff is also nice to us.
