Course Curriculum Overview

5

Colleges that closely integrate the liberal arts with professional studies don’t always focus on the importance of their degree. Having to take classes such as philosophy, and history when seeking out to be a doctor takes their time and mind away from the importance of their degree. When offered classes such as accounting, finance and nutrition will give the young adults a feel for what they really need to know for the real world. It all depends on what you want to go to college for, when talking about liberal arts and professional and technical training.

Campus Life

5

College Life is one of the most remarkable and lovable times of an individual's life. Unlike School Life, College Life has a different experience, and a person needs to have this experience in his/her life. College Life exposes us to whole new experiences which we always dream of experiencing after our school life. Lucky are those who get the chance to enjoy their college life, as many people don't get this chance due to their circumstances or financial issues. For every person, College Life has a different meaning. While some people spend their college life partying with friends, others become more cautious about their careers and study hard. Whatever the way, every individual enjoys their college life and always wishes to relive that time once it is over.

Admission

A liberal arts college is an undergraduate institution focused on studying the liberal arts and sciences. Liberal arts colleges really take the idea of a broad scope of study to heart. In fact, encouraging students to learn across a number of disciplines is kind of the point of a liberal arts education. The curriculum at these colleges usually includes math, visual and performing arts, and the humanities (things like literature, language, philosophy, history, ethics). So instead of focusing on a specific career as the end goal (the way pre-med does, for example), liberal arts colleges help develop skills and habits of mind that students can apply in a number of ways. You’ll learn to be a strong critical thinker at a liberal arts college, to look at the big picture of whatever you’re studying, and develop deep knowledge of a range of subjects. It’s pretty awesome when you think about it!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
