- Faculty is really good, they try to give attention to each and every student.
- Co-Curricular activites are a mandatory and the respective club members approach you
- The college campus is quite big with a 2 canteens, a stadium and a very good auditorium
Dislikes
- The quality of students is quite mixed, some of them being a little rude and mannerless.
- Practical knowledge is given but not upto par.
- Classes don't have AC so it gets quite uncomfortable in summers.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is quite popular and a very good course for engineering as it gives good opportunity to students in the corporate as well as goverment field. The exams are basically like once in 3 weeks with proper course coverage.
Internships Opportunities
TCS, HCL, Wipro are main recruiters in campus placement, with the following roles:- Data analyst Assistant developer Senior Developer Tester Operations head Main projects are provided by professors and the students are assisted fully throughout the project.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Major companies offering placements are TCS, HCL, Wipro Highest package has reached upto 17 lakhs per annum with a average of 6.2 lakhs. About 70% of students get placed on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees is 108000 per year with examination fees per year of about 8-9000. For transport Bus facility is available with yearly fees of about 15000 rupees and hostel starts from 1,20,000 per year.
Campus Life
We have basically one grand fest known as Utkarsh in which an individual can participate in cultural, literary, technical, or sports event as per his/her choice. Our classes are a bit uncomfortable but give a good environment for focused studies
Admission
Admission process is quite simple, you just need your 10th, 12th marksheet, ID proof. Also a mandatory of above 60% is required in your Intermediate exam. There is no exam or interview for management admission, however you can also get admission through CUET (previously from UPTU) and get a scholarship also.
Faculty
Faculty ratio is of about 1:60 with good interaction and a respectable way of communication. We have about 5 exams in total, 3 of them are sessionals and a PUT( Pre University test) and the main exam. Sessionals are of 20 marks each and best of 2 is taken for internal marks. PUT is of 70 marks and is just for practice. Main exam is also of 70 marks and we get a alloted centre for the exam.
