Positive: very old college so have a name, decent placement, focused on overall development. Also good alumni network Negative: Size and management are poor for such reputed institute. Still following old ways to communicate using notice board
Course Curriculum Overview
College is autonomous and hence has its own course curriculum and exam are conducted on its own. Course is refreshed regularly and syllabus is made up to date to match with growing world. All college do not have this benefit
Placement Experience
Placemements are good as companies like Goldman Sachs, Delloite, Asian Paints come for campus recruitment and offer good packages. People from Computer Science and Engineering get more opportunities than other branches. People willing to work hard get a decent job.
College Events
There is Alumni Day when old students come and meet again Also yearly college thechno cultural fest 'Aayam'is organised where many stalls, games, competition are organised. Also Official Freshers is organised for first years
Fee Structure And Facilities
this is govt institute so fee structure is flexible compared to any private college. Also scholarships are offered to few students. The total cost for each semester cost around 40000. Information Technology and Bio Medical Engg have different structure of fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Different scholarships are available for minority group people. They can avail it by attending classes and maintaining 75% attendance. Their full fess is reimbursed. This makes education available to many needy students.
Campus Life
There are computer labs with internet facilities and playgrounds for basketball, football, cricket, badminton, volleyball and many more. Sports meet is held yearly. These facilities are good and can be availed easily.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel because its best place to make friends, live near college and survive. You get food from mess which is not so good quality or healthy. Rate 3/5 to hostel rooms as they are shared by 3 or 4 people. Infrastructure is okay. Internet facilities are available.
Alumni/Alumna
Very strong Alumni network as people do achieve great heights after passing from college. They remain connected with college as 4 years is long time and you build memories. They help in bringing companies for placement and renewing infrastructure.
Faculty
Some faculty are good as they have come after doing post graduation from IIT's and help with subject and few of them are on contract basis and hey are teaching just for sake o money. You cannot rely on faculty to teach you things
