Santipur College : Physics Dept

I always wanted to persue higher studies in physics and Santipur college has provided the opportunity and guidance in that direction. Teachers being friendly always there to help. A student in my dept can ask for help anytime without hesitation. There are good nukber of computers for coding analysis and great lab.

Admission about 1500 per semester, and other exam fees around 1000 per semester. Around 40 seats in Physics hons, 2/3 seats for OBC and 5-10 for SC-ST. Good laboratory environment and great teachers. Computer lab and other excessoris are provided.

The campus isn't huge neither very small but well decorated with flower beds. Feels great to learn while listening to birds chirping. Great computer lab, great electronics lab, new machines. There are no clubs in my dept, not that I'm familiar to.

Santipur college is well known in my locality for Bsc hons. That was probably the sole reason for choosing it over other colleges. The other reason for me not to go any other college was the distance I had to travel. If you're in kalyani university persuing Bsc, it isn't much different in other colleges but the environment which is sublime in Santipur dept of Physics.

Faculty-students ratio is great, there are almost 15 professors and there are around 30 appreantice each year. I'm not familiar with other faculties, I belonged to the physics dept. They are great and helpful. Exams depend on your merit. In my perosnal opinion exams were moderate level each year in physics hons.
