It is a good college especially for the circuit branch students. The college ambience is very good for a studying atmosphere. Some departments have world class amenities. It depends on students about how they make the best use of the college to build their career.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows Outcome Based Education (OBE) according to the Washington Accord . The exam is structure for a subject is cumulative currently. It comprises of 50% from CIE (Continuous Internal Evaluation) and 50% from Final SEE( Semester End Exam which comprises of 100 marks [50marks compulsory questions + 50 marks internal choice questions])
Placement Experience
The placements in our college is the best in mysuru . Package ranges from 3LPA to 26L based on companies.Our college also provides internships based on requirement and internships via placements also. The internship opportunities provide good with experience and stipend varies.
College Events
There is main college fest(JCIANA), department fests (LCC-FOSSBYTES etc), club fests(SAHAS etc), cultural fest(SHABD etc),food fests, GIAN events conducted in our college. It happens through out the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit more than the average fee. Government aided seats costs less. The management seat requires additional donations along with regular fees. Fee varies for different reservations in government aided seats
Fees and Financial Aid
There are multiple scholarships available for students here like MHRD(by GOI),EPASS(by state govt) and many others. The respective department in college offers some scholarships to toppers. Loans can be availed via Banks as this is well recognized institution
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are supported by various clubs in college. The labs of the college are almost good . Variuos indoor and outdoor sportstournament are organized by college and clubs. This section is overall good in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an annual Alumni meet held every year. The network of alumni is good. They also help in improving/bringing new companies for placements to the college. The senior students are almost all helpful and friendly.
Faculty
The faculty in the college is good and co-operative to students . Most of the teaching faculty in CS&E are Ph.D holders or are pursuing it. The faculty are getting updated with later industry tends and technologies and teach them well respectively.
