Course Curriculum Overview
All the subjects have over syllabus. I think the syllabus needs to be reduced so that we can learn without a burden. We hardly get the time to cover portions so that there is no time to study or revise the portions. So I think cutting off the syllabus a little will do.
Internships Opportunities
My subject was Zoology. So there was no internships as it was only informatory. Internship was not a compulsory task and so that we didn't do any internships. If you want to do, then you can approach our teachers, they will help you.
Fees and Financial Aid
I graduated from Christ College Irinjalakuda, in 2023. My college was best in every aspect. Fees for merit quota is very less. Nearly 6000 rupees per semester . And after that, examination fee is there,around 600 rupees per semester. This is very reasonable I think. And if you break something in the laboratory, you have to pay the amount when you take TC. Otherwise there is no extra charges.
Campus Life
Our college focuses on every aspects such as arts , sports, club activities, NSS, NCC. All of these are well maintained . Students get trained well and we are champions in almost all fests. Our college has an A++ accreditation from NAAC.
Admission
I had a dream to study in Christ College as it is hella famous in Kerala. This college was seen in many malayalam movies too. So we friends had a special love towards this college. We planned and then applied. I got admission in the second allotment. This was my dream campus. I achieved it because I had higher marks for twelfth. I can say that our Christ is the best in all aspects such as arts, sports, and academics too. So it's better than any college.
Faculty
All the staffs are very friendly and liberal. Every teachers are unique in their own ways. Teaching styles are also unique and different. My favourite teacher is Dr. Bijoy C . All our teachers in zoology department are highly qualified with doctoral degrees. End Sem examinations are there after every sem. We have 6 semesters for 3 year programs. So that we have 6 exams also. Before the end sem exam we will have an internal exam and a model exam. All the papers are evaluated by our own teachers as we are autonomous. Only in final year an outsider faculty will double check the papers. We have CGPA system out of 10.
