Nshm overall

I didnt make a wromg decision taking admission in this college. This college has helped me a lot in my overall development , my only complian is with the ecam regustration , within a span of 7 days we have to complete the registration for each and every semester

My course curriculum is apt for the course it has all the required subject for being a professional in this course.we have markieting management , inventory management , hospital operations management, medical records, bio statistics which is divided into 2 parts , hospital laws, environment studies, epidemiology,medical terminology, hospital information system,finace management, accounts. The exam structure is similar to that of MAKAUT, since this is the exam board of NSHM. a 100 mark paper is divided in 70 marks and 30 marks. 30 marks are for the internal exams conducted by the faculty members , 70 marks are being conducted by makaut and paper checking is done by externals. For certain subject , these 30 mark internal changes from subject to sibject , for certain subjects, these become viva where someone from differnet organisation comes to do the vivaand they give tha marks based on our performance not just mere answers. We have semester exams every 6 months and the internals twice every six months .

As per placemnets , anually some hospitals do come for compusing and huring newbies form our college who are in 5th semester and are at the verge of the couse completion. The highest my senios have got is 20k per month for bachelors course. Yes my college provides internship facilities. A total of 5 internships is provided by our college aftr the completion of each semester starting form the 2 semester. For every odd semester we are provided a 2 month long internship and for every even semester we are provided a month log internship in hospitals. We are not provided with any stipends. I have done 2 internship uptil now , one in AMRI Hospitals Mukundapur and other in Vidyasagar State General Hospital for 2months and 1 month respectively. we had to follow a strict timing which was equally shared by the employees of the hospital, we had equal holidays , etc. We could work in our choice of department. Our work as an intern was to do data entry, transfer of giles , indenting of materials , study the files, observe the employees on how they do their work .

Our college celebrates 1 big event , login astitva . This is a two day program organised every year in the month of November. This is like a festival for our college since it is filled with all types of activites , there is fashion show , dance solo group , sing solo geoup , beatboxing, rapping one minute to fame in which the participants can perform anyting the want in a minute , graffiti , cooking , business plans competition , football , band competition , console gaming like pubg , fifa , forza etc. Beyond that we have celebratues for the night like pele , ravi shahstri etc. We have NATCONPH for hospital management students and pharmcay students

As per the faculty and the internship and the brand name i would say it is feasible . I have seen students form diiferent college beaing treated not so good as us during internships , a big brand like colombia asia comes to our college to conduct a meet where he says why should we join his company , we have such a brilliant pannel of faculty members directors ,

I dont think so there is any loan or internship facility availed by our college and i havent opted for any , i am not aware of any loan or scholarship and neither i havent heard of any of my seniors talk about it

Our college doesn't only loook after the acedamic performbace of us the students , they cosnider overall grooming is as important as well. For our couse we dont have any laboratories as compared to others like opthalmology etc , we are free to acess the computer labs , there is a football ground where students can go anytime ,

The seniors who have got job at some reupted hospitals , surely are helpful as they give us some tips for how to pass the interview and they donshare their mistakes which they did in theur interview , not all shares them but some of my seniprs do share it.

As i entered the college for admission , i had to fill a small admission form which had a gist of details why i came to that college, After that a concerned authority would appear and have an initial interview sort of thing where i was discribed in gist what this couse is and the after that , we had to buy another form which was a bit detailed form conating each and every details required by the college for admission and that admission form costs INR500. Aftr filling all the essentails , we had to submit it to the counter from where we collected it aftr some.times i was called for an ebtrance tes which had general knowledge based question , english language questions, mathatics , etc. Minimum criteria for passing the test is atleast 60% . Aftr that test , we are called for result consultation test, where we are informed about our marks , then some talks regarding the course like what all subjects the students would have to study , etc . Aftr we had talked and we are ready for admissiin, we are ased to pay an admission fee which depends upon couse and for me it was 40k . Aftr admission we become the students of NSHM, we are handed over with a kit which comprises of a t shirt with college's name , a coffee mug , a badge of NSHM, and a notebook. We have to pay the first semsester fees within a month's span before the college opens for us , failing to which our admission would be cancelled.

Well according to me , NSHM has the best faculty memners as compared to may other college in that area, maximum of them are atleast IIM graduates. , Some of the have passed IIT and IIM. both, we have CA , phd holders , master degree holders from some of the best institutes in the country , so they are qualified. They do behave well and do help us with our activities and studies , they are friendly.
