Experiencing Bennett: A journey through Placements, Academic and college life

The btech cs curriculum is well designed and highly updated as per the current industry demaaands. It covers important topics such as Data Structures , Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which are important for both real life and academic pursuits. Teaching is a mix of theory and practical learning. The areas for improvement could be that teaching methods could be more interactive and include latest technologies and also for better engagement. The exams are held twice per semester(mid term and end term). they are equally easy and tough depending upon your interaction in the class and your learning.

Students pursuing btech in computer science are eligible for campus placments starting from 6th semester. Top companies like Amazon, tcs, infosys, wipro offer roles such as software developer, Data anaylist and Ai engineer. The highest package has gone upto 45 LPA while the average package is 6-8 LPA. 80-90% students are placed every year. after completing my degree my plans will be finding job opportunites in Ai and machine learning.

The tution fees for the first year is 3,80,000 and it increases anually by 10,000. so, by the fourth year, the tution fee reaches 3,80,000. one time registration fee of 45,000 is required in the first year. the total tution fees for the entire btech course comes to around 15 lacks. excluding of hostel and other charges. hostel fee ranges from 1.5 lacks to 1.8 lack anually depending upon the room type(double sharing or triple sharing) and also off campus or on campus. the scholarships are available based on performance in exams like JEE mains , Board exams, and cuet. the maximum scholarship can be obtained is upto 50 percent of tution fees. there are also specific scholarships for military backgrounds, offering upto 10 percent discount.

Campus life in Bennett university is vibrant with focus on both academic and social aspects. Several annual functions and festivals are oragnised and celebrated every year. Cultural fest like Alyssa and technical fest like HackBU which basically held between feburary and april. The classrooms are well stocked with a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources. the resources are acessible to all students. Sports facilities include gym, basketball, tennis courts etc. Adtionally, several student run clubs are also there such as coding clubs, Drama clubs etc.

I applied to different colleges for btech cs including Amity university, Shiv nadar university but after i got the confired news from bennett university i chose Bennett university. The reasons being industry alligned curriculum, which includes specialised topics like AI, Block chain and Data science. The admission process is smooth with eligibility criteria 50% in 10+2( physics, chemistry and mathematics). and also acceptance can be done with Jee Main scores which are preferd by many students. The cutoff varkied but a score above 80th percentile in Jee mains ensure easy admission

The facullty to student ratio for btech in cs program is 1:15, providing students with adequate access to faculty members. The faculty is highly qualified . Many of them hold phds and have good research and industry knowledge. Faculty members who stand out for me are Dr Arun agarwal and Dr Sunil kumar khatri. They are well regarded for clarity, mentorship and practical teaching methods. I do not dislike any particular faculty member. The course structure is vast including many topics suc as Data structures, Ai, machine learning. Overall the circulum is highly relevant with mix of theory and practical knowledge.
