Very old college though a right platform for enhancing your skills

Though I have a high respect for my college I should say that it is not as expected and not like a college like IIT. It is not even comparable to any IIT. We should have that thing in ourselves to go for an internship or some industrial tour. Do not expect anything from college side.

I personally feel this curriculum is designed to enhance the skills of a student. We can achieve what we want to in this college as there will be no huge pressure from curriculum. We have a lot of free time in which we can actually can focus on many other things apart from our course.

Still, only one software company (MNC)-TCS has visited our college, and about 125/360 were hot placed in that with the package of 3.35 lacs per annum. And recently, some core companies concerning their branch (like chip design company for ECE, etc.,) have also visited, and about 2-3 students have been placed with the highest package of around 3.5 lacs per annum.

We celebrate college day every year. We also have Athletic day exclusively. We also celebrate sports day. We also have seperate fests for every department. Workshops are also done. Last year IEEE workshop has been done in our college. Many competitions happen every year for college day.

Fee structure is very feasible as it is a university we need to just pay around 20k every year. Only rank holders are able to study in this college. Some special batches are there and some seats are alloted for them like Sweden batches.

There is actually a scholarship option in our college that is Janmabhoomi scholarship. There is also merit scholarship in our college which every student can apply and scholarship will be granted according to marks you get.

Actually we have only one ground in our college. We have separate labs for every branch.unfortunately they are not very well eqipped. They doesn't work properly as the old equipment is not replaced by new one. We have some student clubs in our college. We can excel in any sport. New gym is about to open in our college. That was expected to be opened by our respectful Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Garu.

Yes, alumni network is so helpful as they came forward to sponsor money for us to encourage for us to do a project. There are a lot of successful people passed out from our college. They offered total expense for any new project done by students.

Firstly we need to secure a good EAMCET rank to opt for our desired branch. Later we need to process the proceedings and can select our interested field. I cleared EAMCET with a decent rank and got place in mechanical engineering.

Actually professors take most of the classes for senior students.There are intellectual professors and assistant professors. The lectures with high practical knowledge, but they will not take the classes properly. (Only 30% of them were guiding the students properly to certain approach). No industrial tour was planned still from the college history. There were many projectors on the campus, but no one uses them for us.
