- Alumini base is pretty strong. You will find alumni in each company around the world.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure and hostel conditions are very bad. Especially boys hostel really need refurbishment
- Teacher are lazy to attend the lecture and send PGT to complete the syllabus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is higly outdated and needed to be changed as soon as possible in electronics. You not find any coding related subjects which are used in electronics, only subjects I find good were the NPTEL courses which were done mandatory by college as you have to take atleast two nptel courses and get certificate in it.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies provide internship but you can only get internship from college if you are in contact with aluminus of college. Alumini help you with your arrangments if you are going abroad for studies. They are very helpful.
Placement Experience
Placement was OK. I was placed in my college in my 3rd year last day which was the first company that came for placement. So I was placed pretty early but most of my friends struggled to get the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
for the first year fees was 100000 which included hostel fees and 10000 security for first year. after that for next 3 fees was 80000 which included hostel and mess fees as well. My friend was getting scholarship from UP goverment as a financial aid.
Campus Life
Campus life of good, Hostel life is even better and if I talk about studies that is a big issue. You have study mostly by yourself as there are very less support from the faculty members. So it makes method pretty hard to work on.
Hostel Facilities
Boys hostel conditions are very bad. They have not maintained I don't know for how long. In 3 capacity room they try to fit 4 people. Similarly 1 capacity gets 2 people. hostels are overburdened just make hostel very congested sometimes.
Admission
I got admission through the MET exam which was held by my college which was changed in 2022 and now it takes admissions only through JEE MAINS. Cutoff for MeT exam for ECE was rank under 1000 my rank was 799.
Faculty
In Electronics and communication department, there were total 8 semesters out of which 6 are class going. Final two are mainly for projects and practicals and internships. There were 2 exams for each subject in the semester minor and major, which are ususally known are mid sem and end sem exams. Faculties are highly qualified but some senior faculty do not care to teach they just send Guest faculties or Phd scholars to teach.
