- Infrastructure, it is one of the first interaction that makes me to take admission
- Network, seriously there lots of students, research scholars, to whom you can meet get an idea about career and many more
- Affordable, Fee are less compare to other universities
Dislikes
- Crowd in Class, Literally due high numbers of students there is very crowd in class which makes impossible to teachers to teach each student.
- Unorganised, I found little unorganised things within department itself
- Fail Ratio, It is one of the worst things happening in university, every year almost 70-80% students got failed or get back/improvement in subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
Every stream have thier different curriculum which were updated every year by few topics. In Bcom, it is okay niether too much theory nor practical. But don't expect they will teach you about Tally or other Accounting Software.
Fees and Financial Aid
For Students batch of 2022 year or before, have to pay 1000-1500 rupees yearly in thier first year while for forward years they have to pay 1250 rupees, So total tution fee is almost 3500-3800 rupees at maximum. For students batch of 2023 and upcoming year, have to pay 3x fee as earlier we paid because University of Allahabad has increased thier fee with 3x amount in terms of development and students facilities. I am Talking about CMP degree college, Allahabad. It is same for all other affiliated colleges and universities as well with 500-1000 rs difference between each colleges and University. So total tution fee can vary from 8,000-10,000 Rupees. For students coming from Financial weak background, there is plenty of opportunity for them such as UP SCHOLARSHIP, NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP, OTHER SCHOLARSHIP BY university ( for low income students to buy books )
Campus Life
Literally, you will meet with new students daily if you are rrgukar to colleges, this things can't be experessed in words, if you are a social person you find your desired place, your introvert still you get fullfil desire. Lots of people with lots of mindset and lots of dreams. It's upto you, don't be sad if you are alone because many students are alone in thier mind , just smile be confident and move and enjoy beauty.
Admission
The first attraction in the name itself , University of Allahabad, a central university. Earlier it was famous with name, Oxford of East. But days are changed it was now ok among central university but best among all colleges.
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified, Mostly classes are conducted by Research scholars, whch were good. Inshort, Teaching is good but the biggest issue is Marking scheme. Don't know either it is done intentionally or not but almost 70% students got back/improvement/Failed in thier first year which really very disturbing for all students. To get good marks, Just fill whole answer sheets with highlighted points, headings. Keep in Mind while writing answers use points as much as possible rather than writing in paragraph wise.
