Its the creative part of architecture that made me choose this course...few theory subjects easy to clear... 2 series exam with 1.5 months and a sen exam...so 3 exams in total Felt like a sem could be a bit longer as the schedule seems hectic

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 8725 per year

Internships Opportunities

Not very knowledgeable about the internship par as i'm still in 2nd year...internship is usually done in 4th year for a course of six months in the 7th semester to be specific...uasually group of students from a class joins a firm together

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee:8725 With scholorship: 2515 For Barch, they collect 500rs as part of NASA registration An additional fund of 2000rs is to be given to an association SSA that is completely run by students to conduct programs/workshops

Campus Life

Lot of funfilled events like dythi bring everyone together...clubs like ISTE provide lot of opportunities for skill development . The infrastructure , though not very modern as some private colleges, is well equipped with good computers and labs.

Hostel Facilities

Good environment...well equipped room wirh study tables for each one and wifi service in laptop . Provide mess services with is near to the hostel blocks. The promity of hostel makes attending early classes easier.

Admission

Chose gect because of the strong reputation, affordable fees and experienced faculty.other college are expensive especially when looking into architecture in general. Admission process was straightforward through KEAM

Faculty approachability depends ... There are both approachable and non approachable ones... Exams of our university are quite moderate...not very difficult to clear them...TOS is the subject that students fail the most in our course

College of Engineering Trivandrum. Is it worth the hype

Placement Experience:

As I'm a first year student I don't know much about placements but I think it starts by 8th sem for b arch students. Placements for barch are low compare to btech. But as this is a prestigious institution the best firms come here and there is a unit called CGPU for helping students regarding placements here.

I chose architecture course as a passion but this particular college was chosen by the college The part of the curriculum I liked were the studios and workshops they provide They don't prepeare you for real world but they help you make connections Teaching a bit of law and rules and regulations and including software skills as a part of the teaching ciriculum should be mandatory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like architecture because of its creatove and practicality. And in pur college they are making sure of combining those two together. Their teaching methods are good for me because i am learning so much. But not for everyone they are sl friendly in outside i think if they are so friendly in college . The students might like the letures more. The jury and exams are mostly collide that is a not good thing for us. They are making sure of the real world works so that we can actually survive after the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Im a passionate student architect. From childhood, I had this dream of becoming a creator. So I chose this course. There is a good ratio of faculty student ratio in the private colleges all over india. I'm not sure about the teaching method because this is more like a self learning course. But faculties are also helpful most of the time. Jury subjects are tougher than written examinations.

Good private college for b.arch

Admission:

I choose this college because this was the best college I was getting from my rank obtained in KEAM. I cleared the cutoff for this college in second round.Admission here are given on the basis of their rank of obtained in either KEAM(Kerala engineering architecture medical entrance test) or NATA.

Good Express till now

Admission:

Admission here is given on the basis of rank secured in NATA. With my rank I cleared the cutoff in general category in third round. I want my college to be near my home. So I can travel daily from my home. With my rank this was the best option I was getting and hence I opted for this.

NITC Glimpses

Remarks:

Ours is a National College. People from different background from different parts of india do come to study in college.I can't say that The Faculty in our College is too good. But they are quite okay. The faculties of the first year Maths are too poor. Most of them are ADHOC. Some Faculty treat the students as their own children, being liberal to them, while some at the same time just know how to teach, not to mingle with the students. Rest all branches dont have that much placement opportunity as compared to CSE. Positive 1.One of the biggest quality is the exposure that a student gets while studying in this college.The lectures are of high standards and the professors are of international demand. 2.An another good quality is the placement that we get from this college.people from across Kerala always praise the high quality of placements that we get in this college Negative 1.The lecture classes are very much one way, rather than being more interactive 2.Mosquito in some hostels
