One of the Best College In AKTU

Negative remarks like they cost too much fine one silly things like late entries to college. They collect 100 rupees from each student each time whenever they get late to the je college so this is the only negative thing in my opinion.

I am student of Mechanical Engineering domain this is evergreen branch and it has wide scope and yes Gate is the most important thing for Mechanical students through which they can get job in PSU's like NTPC,HPCL,IOCL, SAIL, GAIL and BHEL etc. Mechanical branch is very wide and good branch as it has many sub branches like design production etc. It has many scope and also there are many companies in india as well as in foreign. In my college there are 3 exams St1, ST2 and PUT and after this there is final exam by AKTU University this exam is conducted in other college which is of 70 marks. This internal exams like st and put decide the internal marks out of 30.

Placements are very good in CS, IT and ECE branch but its zero in CE and ME branch because not any single core companies visit for placement drive for Mechanical students so there is no placement for this student but they get placed in mass recruiters like INFOSYS HCL and wipro. For Mechanical students only Indian Navy is the good option in oncampus placement. Main companies which visit AKGEC are wipro, Infosys, HCL Amazon, DLD labs, Indian navy etc but many students get placed off campus in good companies like BOSCH, Ashok Leyland, Zomato, Tcs, tata motors etc.

All festivals are very well celebrated in our college but Holi celebration is my favourite. Its very colourful and joyful festival because they provide organic colours to each and every students amd dj are also arranged in football ground for ir dance. Kite flying is also a good event. Other important events are anti ragging, freshers, soor, saksham, effulgence etc.

Fee structure is same as all other colleges in AKTU fees is 1.46 lakh INR in first year and from second year its1.28 lakhs its college fees and college hostel fees is 95k it contains both living and mess foods. And if you want to live outside the college hostel than its about 60k. But I have FW seat and i have to pay only 22k per year for college fees.

Yes scholarship are available if you belong to uttar pradesh. Aktu students get scholarships about 56k per year but the condition is your family income must be below 2 lakh. Otherwise there is no any kind of scholarship. Also college provide good amount to meritorious students if you get good marks than you will get about 5k rupees and if you have 100 % attendance than you get 3k rupees per semester.

There are many extra curricular activities but important is saksham. In this there are many sports events from discuss throw to football.In terms of labs AKGEC has very good and well maintained labs such as BOSCH LAB, KUKA ROBOTICS LAB, SEIMENS LAB and Fronius lab for wielding. This labs are very important and they provide good training to engineering students. Fronius lab provides good and cheap training in advanced welding technology and also in NDT courses which has very low cost if compared to other laboratories present in NCR region.

In our college seniors are very interactive and helpful. They provide us with good guidance and all the necessary needs and help each time. They are the onlyone who gives us idea about the placements, jobs, winter or summer training and internships. So there must be a good bond between seniors and junior.

I got admission through UPSEE exam.This is conducted by AKTU Lucknow in mid of june and July. This exam has 150 questions from class 11 and 12 syllabus but main thing is it has no negative marking. Maximum mark is 600 marks and I scored 365 and also got FW seat in AKGEC. So admission procedure is very simple UPSEE exam and after that through counselling you can get the college based on your rank.

In my opinion Faculties of 1st year were so good and they provide a very good environment for students.Most of the facilities were highly qualified and have PhD degrees. They are highly experienced and are from IITs. But in second year I never found them helpful they didn't able to complete the syllabus and they force students to buy the notes from photo state shop. So faculties are very good in 1st year but after that they are worst.
