Course Curriculum Overview

3

Nothing of the curriculum influenced me to choose this course but my desire to become a doctor influenced me.... The faculty doesn't care much for teaching the students of clinical methods Clinical methods to be improved Yearly 3 internal examinations and 1 final examination

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship is done in our college itself in the hospital with 52 weeks of compulsory rotatory internship with lot of night duties and no proper stay facilities i.e., no duty doctor rooms are available with no proper breaks and sleep deprivation and no much clinical exposure and no much ot experience the staff nurses won't allow us to even suture saying there is no time

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee was 11025 and the year wise fee is 11025 including tution fee library fee gym fee(but there is no functioning gym) The jnanabhumi scholarship was avail to me up to 2nd yr but was cancelled from 3rd yr Scholar ship was avail only for some and the amount credited was very irregular. No financial aid was avail to the students...every one had to bear their own expenses

Campus Life

4

Campus life was normal,we mildly participated in social aspects, there was no club and infrastructure is good but there is no good compound which created a big colony of dogs roaming around the college and hospital Annual festival are college fest October graduation ceremony march/april Pre Christmas November Vinayaka chavithi September Library is neat and equipped with air conditioning but medical books of latest edition are not available...but mostly we take our own books and material to study in the library In classroom we have PowerPoint slide presentation and nothing more than that Sports are conducted on ocassion during college fest etc

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel room shared by 3 or 4 with 2 fans and 2 lights and 3 charging points Meals are ok but not soo good Who first admits in hostel is alloted room first and 500 rupees per month upto final year and 1000 rupees per month in internship No I didn't rent a room or PG

Admission

I chose this college because it was the only one I was offered according to my rank when I applied for different colleges in counseling. Other colleges that I applied for are SV Medical College, Tirupati and RIMS Kadapa, and Kurnool Medical College Of all these I was eligible for ACSR MEDICAL COLLEGE only according to my rank It is not based on rejection but based on counseling and marks and rank A date was given before which we had to report for the classes...the exam accepted was NEET UG...over all admission experience was exciting and good

Faculty

3

1:45 is the ratio.... faculty to student relationship was like some professors were good and some were not much interested in students...I liked my obgyn professor named Lakshmi Priya....who is very calm and can handle any kind of case without being terrified...she is so cool and handles things in a smooth way...even with the patients and is a student friendly professor

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that we follow us CBME curriculum. That reflects the clinical knowledge blended with the general knowledge of mbbs and this curriculum suits us in terms of many applications to the practice of medicine. The difficulty level is increased for the final exams but it is good for the competition that increased in these days.

My choice for this profession is that,it gives highest level of respect It is the Profession to save the lives of people The life which was taken away by the evil can be dragged back by the doctors The first year's dissection of cadavers,2nd 3rd 4th year's gives the experience to treat any case and to overcome the fear of blood No improvements needed in our college,as everything seems perfect Timing is planned by expertise, frequency of exams is very accurate and gives boost to remember every topic

Course Curriculum Overview:

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions
