- I like the college environment, it is wide , peaceful and there is greenery everywhere
- Faculty are experienced and labs have costly softwares
- Events and festivals are grandly organised . The girls to boys ratio is 18:27
Dislikes
- Air conditioners are not available in all classes
- Holidays are not given much , sometimes there are classes during sunday
- R22 regulation is not really great but it has certain pros too
Course Curriculum Overview
Ece course is very well designed with theoretical focus and lab based practicals . Costly softwares like Cadence and Vivado are present in our labs and students can work in labs till 7 pm at night . Exams are learning based and practical based
Placement Experience
From third year , second semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are good placement opportunities for skilled students . Companied like TCS , Veda iit are regular hirers . Campus recruitment training is given to all interested students
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 1,80,000 per year for ece course , Based upon our inter marks and Eamcet rank , some percentage of scholarship will be provided .. I got 20% of scholarship i.e 18,000 per sem and 36,000 per year . This scholarship is given only if student scores 7.0 gpa or more in semester. Additional to the yearly fees , there will be 5000 of CRT fees and insurance of 100 rupees
Campus Life
Mahotsav is a cultural event , there are many events including dance , singing and dramas . Celebrities are invited as chief guest . Srujanankura and engineers day events are technical based , there are many competitions and interesting prizes for poster presentation and Project making . Recently in an elocution competition held for Gandhi Jayanti , I won 6000
Admission
I applied for 3 universities and I joined in vignan University. This university is simple yet interesting. I really liked the experienced faculty and simple environment. There are placements too for skilled people . Campus recruitment training is given
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 . Faculty are approachable and friendly . My favourite teachers are Sarada mam & Ravi Kiran sir . They are excellent in explanation and doubt clearing . Our college works on the basis of continuous assesment .. there are regular targets to be met by students . There are 10 targets and one sem end exam .
Interview Experience
I have not yet participated in campus placements because I am currently studying third year , 1st semester. I have contacted and asked our seniors about campus placements . They have conducted written test including aptitude and reasoning, followed by coding test and group discussion, final stage is clearing interview
