Likes
- Curriculam was well designed and structured for students based on latest trends.
- gender ratio was equal and many more guidelines were followed, no ragging was there and all the people were treated equally
- Internals and externals were conducted on a timely basis and we were getting proper time to prepare as well
Dislikes
- getting hostels were very difficut, even though i have applied at start i dint get the hostel.
- hostel preference were given mostly to management peple and we were not getting hostels.
- there were two separate hostels for girls, north and south people and the hostel cost is very hign , which normal middle class cant afford.
Course Curriculum Overview
Data structures and algorithms , this topic was very much explained and more inspired to work on my coding skills, web tech and big data concepts were also well explained stil iam following those practises in my current projects as well. exam was 3hours which were more than enough, but for some theory subjects like Operating system, it was not enough.
Internships Opportunities
The students were offered internship based onthe campus recruitment, in the campus recruuiment itself the students were selected for internship, it was about 3 months to 6 months. and students should complete that without fail.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem students are eligible for attending placments Every company that came atleast offered a job for atlest single person average package was 500000 and highest was 2700000. i got placed for Atos and continued to work there
Fees and Financial Aid
yearly for me fees was 36000(Includes everything) exam fees we were paying around 1000 or something every year 1500 we were paying for makeup exam (thouse who have failed in main exam) i was getting EPASS scholorship of 21000(18000 + 3000) since i was OBC i was getting PH scholorship of 36000
Campus Life
There were many clubs like IEEE, Onyx , Sports club and other clubs as well. almost all the necessary boos related to subjects and many books were available based on the student intrest as well. each classroom seating arrange ments were very good, it was in a semicirclular fashion. all the classrooms are smart class rooms
Admission
NIE was among top 5 colleges in karnataka for Computer Science and ENgineering, placements were very good, faculty were all well trained and most of them are Phd holders. curriculum was well designed and many clubs were there to support students for other co curricular activities as well.
Faculty
1:the faculty to student ratio was good, lecturers were very friendly and very interactive. 2: Lokesh sir, Yogesh sir, lokesh sir was taking logic design and system design, they were very interactive and they were helping us in all the aspects , like in classes as well in personal things as well, they were more like a family for us. 3: Shabana Sultana - she was very rude for al lthe students and she was not treating al lstudents equally 4: 3 internals and one external exam, internals were calcualted on best of 2 score all the exams were easy to meadium level, only few subjects were meadium to hard only few were unable to clear the exam
