Remarks

No bad remarks, I came across of. There were few negatives about the transportation as it did not cover the entire city

Entrance Preview

Common Entrance Test (CET) in 2006 and scored 76% with a cut-off of 276/300. I chose this college because of very good academic and placement opportunities. Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2013 and scored 92 %ile.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum - 8/10Faculty - 8/10A lot of electives to choose upon. Updated technology in the syllabus.Faculty took individual attention for choosing electives.

Internships Opportunities

Stipend for internship was Rs.20,000/- p.m for students with average academics. Companies for internship were Infosys, HP, CTS, TCS, Wipro and few more.

Placement Experience

Software companies like TCS, Infosys, CTS, HP, Mphasis and around 100 more came for campus placement and there were other companies related to other branches as well. 80% of students were placed in round one of the on-campus drive.

College Events

Technical Symposium on latest technologies were conducted each semester.Inter and intra collegiate cultural festivals were conducted by the students every year.There were state level participation programs conducted by the management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible and it was Rs.65,000 per annum.Can be paid in two instalments. There were fee reservation for SC,ST students.The fee includes academic, lab sessions, library. The fee excludes exam fees, hostel and mess charges.

No scholarship facilities that I know of, but there were good loan options available for students and the college has a tie up with a nationalised bank.

Campus Life

Campus life was great with a chilled out atmosphere with immense cultural and co-curricular activities.There were no discrimination on sex,race or nationality and a lot of NRIs opted for this college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities were good compared to other colleges and mess food was amazing. People can opt for both veg and non veg food.Water and electricity facilities were good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni association was good and it helped students interact with the alumni on various technological trends outside the campus.The alumni association conducted programs and invited alumni from over 10 years past to interact with the students helped them with the current and post academic fields.

Exam Structure

Exams were conducted semester wise and model tests every month.There was no hectic schedule in regards to exams and lab sessions every week.

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

I applied for SRM institute of science and technology and vellore institute of technology. I chose Crescent over all of them because the fee structure was a bit high. I was offered Btech Cse course in SRM KTR and VIT AP. To get admission in the college I am currently studying in, you have to write CIEAT exam.
