Good atmosphere

Over all the college is good. But the fee is not affordable this year 2018 batch. Students fought against that. They filed the case but college won the case and there fore the college fee is not going to change.The fee structure is, without any second thoughts, too expensive. It's around 5L for 4 years of engineering. For few it may sound reasonable but the outcome expected from such a huge fee is not adequate. Infrastructure needs to be developed, more recreational facilities must be provided, scholarships must be granted.

The curriculum is very much comprehensive I will say. Most of the course content is based on the Syllabus prescribed by JNTU Hyderabad. Practical learning is also highly emphasised.Exams does make us quite exhausting here. The internal exams taken use to be in very close intervals so are very tensioning.

Students who have GPA above seven without any backlogs, they will undoubtedly get good placement with a good package. Average students of CSE and IT department gets a good package. The students should be well-skilled in their core subjects for attaining good placements.

The students of CBIT organize the independent TED event as TEDxCBIT. The event is completely organized by the students of CBIT and has been organized twice since 2017, each with a different theme.Every year, as part of Shruti, the inter-department fest, an inter-department sports competition is held. Sports in the fest are basketball, football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, kabadi, handball, throwball and track and field events. There are indoor games too, along with outdoor games like carroms, chess, and table tennis. There are tournaments held within CBIT college and also with other colleges.

Fee I think is lower in comparison to the neighbouring colleges of this area. Each year they charge around 2lac for tuition and examination fee.No it's not affordable by many students. But incase of getting below 10k rank in eamcet that student can get free admission in this college.

The IEEE Student Branch (Branch Code STB 31231) of this institute was formed in 1993 in the spirit of providing students resources and contacts needed for the enhancement of their professional development. It provides technical competitions, tours of cutting-edge facilities and a venue to meet and speak with some of the most important working professionals. It is intended to provide a platform for students to display as well as enhance their skills. IEEE membership provides many programs and presents yet another chance for students to stay a step ahead on the path to their chosen fields. The branch hopes to create an environment where all students can learn to effectively develop and use technology both for improving their own career prospects and for the benefit of humanity. It has been conducting regular training programs like group workshops, seminars, contests, and industrial visits. The student branch has 140 student members from branches of ECE, EEE, CSE, and IT.

CBIT is located at Gandipet near Financial District in Hyderabad. The campus is 25 km from Secunderabad Railway Station and 28 km from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. It is well connected with radial roads and outer ring road (ORR) for an easy access by road. With a total of 12 blocks in the campus, eight blocks are assigned to ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, Mechanical, Mechanical (Production), Civil, Chemical, Bio-Tech, MBA, and MCA departments. Four blocks are for the library, R&D, physical education department (sports), cafeteria and assembly halls. Workshop sheds and laboratories are found between the blocks.

Alumni is very helpful at the time of placements. And there give a lot of confidence before the interview.These associations often organize social events, publish newsletters or magazines, and raise funds for the organization. Many provide a variety of benefits and services that help alumni maintain connections to their educational institution and fellow graduates.

The department has well qualified, young and enthusiastic teaching faculty who are always willing to go that extra mile in reaching the institutional goals. All of the faculty members are post graduates and some of the faculty members are doctorates in Engineering. The department has well equipped computer labs consisting of computer systems with high end specifications to meet the needs of the current generation Information Technology applications. These labs along with well qualified and dedicated supporting staff give hands on experience of various Information Technology Applications to the students. The department also encourages internships under various successful industrial organizations.
