GIBS: An overview

The curri ulam is normal just like any other college. The subjects are usally same as the other colleges. I would say that the college focuses on theory rather than practical application. The subjects are mostly as same of those in 11 and 12 if you had commerce with you. The institution need to add courses which are more relevant to todays enviornment like AI, PYTHON, CODING so that in their future if they go for interviews they have some hardskills to show which will make them a step ahead of others. The teaching method depends on the faculties. Most the teachers use their PPT whichare enough to clear your concept and better understanding but you have to make detailed notes to write lengthy answers for the exams. They wont be enough for your 12 marker questions. The frequency of exams are quite fast. You will have class test after every unit is covered. You will have 5 questionsof 5marks and you have to do it on your own brought sheets and have to completeit in the lecture only i.e 1 hour. Then wehave minor exams or you can say mid sem which are of 60 marks and 2hr. The timming is from 10 t0 12. 2 hrs are really short to attempt a 60 marks paper. Atlest the i stutuion should provide 2.5 hours.

I am not aware about companies offering the internshipshename summer internship program in 4 sem. But you can always ask faculty members fall internships. There are also students who will be informing you about available internship i b they are doing O samer CRs will O also peramade O you information t regarding the same.

Students from 6 sem are eligible for campus placement. The institution also offers summan internship in you 4 sem. The highest pacakage gor marketing specialisation was 20 lakhs and for HR it was 3 lakhs. I would be pursuing MBA after my BBA but would definitely opt for this college. I seriously dont wanna waste another 2 years in this enviornment.

For BBA the fees is 140000 for 1 year including both the semesters. 10,000 is security fees which is refundable after you complete your degree. For the second and last year the fees is 128000 . College did offered scholarship this year but that was forstudents whose family annual income is below 600,000. The college will be providing you books which is covered in the fees only.

My overall experience is absolutely opposite of what shad expected from this institution. 1. The campus isn't what you will be looking for in your dream college life. 2. The club involvement is not CO great. There are no frequent events in college like diwali, navratri or dusherra. 3. There is no offical sport s tream of collage. anyone who is interested at that time can tame pant by giving out your name to the coordinator. 4. The only books you will be finding in library is an backs on some DBA and MBA books. There is no fit themal on non fictional books available in the library.

I gave CUET and was targeting a South campus college but wasnt able to get seat in any of the college so I had GGSIPU as my backup and I got this college from the university. Though you have to give CET for IPU but I got entry through my cuet scores. The college is just like any other college but you wont have a good campus (shuru hote hi khtm) The clubs are not that active when it comes to krganising events. There is no navratri celebration or dusherra or Diwali. Only janmashti is celebrated with dahi handi. The admission process is really easy. You can admission through CET, CUET for BBA MBA OR BBA+MBA and CLAT for BALLB. Though there is always and option for direct admission but I wont suggest that for BBA OR BBA+MBA

The faculty members are nice, friendly and approachable. You will be provided with the important questions during the exams and ppts of the lecture. The course is divided in into 6 semesters and you have to clear 2 MOOC courses during these 6 semesters otherwise you wont be getting yiur degree. Previously the college had online MCQ system for ut but now they have switched to class tests of the uts of 25 marks each, which is really hectic you wont be getting any gap between the exams and you wont even notice when your mid semesters are there. Mis sem also known as minors are of 60 marks of 2 hours which is really not fair. You will have 5 questions of 3 marks compulsory to atempt and 3 questions of 15 marks qith internal choice. The syllabus for minors is usually Unit 1 2 3. The college offers 40 marks internally in which 10 is for attendance 15 for minors 5 Class Ppt 5 class performance 5 of UT The minors are usually easy and covers the important questions you will be provided by the faculties. Students usually just write the exams with a mindset to pass the exam, most students are really not serious about the minor exams.
