The only positive is if u want a job immediately after Btech u have to join computer science department which is great in the field for every student who enters amrita University . Not only CSE there are various courses which gives joy to your life.

As per my course mechanical it's a bit tough and placements aren't good for the past years. Exam structures are as follows : Each candidate will have two internal exams for 50 marks each and will be having a weightage of 30 % and 20 % for continuous evaluation and remaining for end semester.

Placements are very good in the case of CSE and EEE . For ECE it's in the mid range and for mechanical is somewhat poor. College also offers various student exchange programs and abroad study for best results.

Events , coming to the events there are various number of technical fest , multi fest , national fest , college sports day , inter amrita University , South zone University team etc. Anokha and vidyut are popular in the widerange

Fee structure depends on which campus you select coimbatore campus is the most expensive then comes Chennai and Bangalore with amirtapuri at last . Fee structure varies from 5 lakh to 2.5 lakh on each campuses.

There are good scholarships and student exchange programs available in this college I personally don't have any scholarships but my friends do have scholarships on top 10 ranks , central government scholarships, etc .

Amrita is good is sports , dance ,singing , swimming , gym , weightlifting , athletics , and games . There are special laboratories and research centers for solar and nanosolar technology with CNC machines and 3d printing .

Yes, they are helpful they come to us after some years and contact us directly give us various options for doing our Ms and PhD in various fields they also tell us about various courses and guide us in proper way thanks to them.

I wrote entrance exam and secured 12,000 rank which led me into this college.Our college has 4 engineering campuses the new one opened in Chennai . Coimbatore campus is the head office and Bangalore is in mid range and best for computer science and EEE.Costs are quite high for these two campuses but amirtapuri costs quite low .

Faculties are best in the case of amrita all faculties are from IIT and have done phd programs in various courses and subjects. There are staffs who also offer different and intresting courses in amrita.
