Review about LNMIIT college

Course curriculum mostly covers theoretical knowledge but does not cover practical knowledge and in labs faculty does not explain and teach every aspect but only gives assignments to you have to learn the relevant knowledge and skills to complete an assignment on your own. The frequency of exams is not so high. We only have mid-term and end-term exams including some course quizzes in between.

Internship opportunities are very few in our college hardly 2 or 3 companies come to provide summer internships after the 6th semester. Our college mostly focuses on full-time placement instead of internships which is why only 3 companies came last year to provide internship opportunities for students.

Our placement was around 85% last year and our average package was around 12.5 lakh. From the 7th semester, students become eligible to sit in campus placement. Last year's highest offer was around 52 lakh CTC.

My yearly fee for this year is around 5 lakh including tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, development fees, and hostel fees. My tuition fees and hostel fees increase by 10% every year. It includes all facilities like electricity, activity, mess, internet, and other miscellaneous charges. Our fees are the same for all the courses and for all the categories of students. Our college also provides scholarships and financial aid to students according to their merits and financial capabilities.

My overall campus experience was good. I usually spend my free time with my friends by playing online games and basketball. I am a part of the E-CELL club in which I make many good friends Our club usually deals with entrepreneurship related activities.

Hostel facilities provided by our college are good in every respect except air conditioning. Our hostel provides four meals on time and meal quality is decent. Our hostel did not provide single rooms till the 7th semester and our locality is not suitable for renting rooms or flats outside the campus.

My relative suggested this college while I was preparing for the college entrance exam but due to my relatively low score on the JEE exam, I wasn't able to get admission to top NITS and IIts which is why I decided to take admission to this private college which meets all my requirements. If I compare my college with top NITS then our college is not as good as theirs. Our average package and placement ratio is lower than NITS.

Faculty to student ratio is good but faculty to student relationship is average and yes faculty are approachable. Exams are very difficult and faculties are also very strict in marking. They often give fewer marks compared to what you deserve. The curriculum is relevant but most of the courses only covers theory not practical knowledge.
